From 3 star hotel to 1 star
I have never slept in such a bad hotel. The fact that this is a 3-star hotel is incomprehensible to me. I booked this with Booking.com
The room was old and made a dirty impression. The window handles were loose, the curtains were partly detached from the rod and the shower was a drama: the water really came in all directions except where it belonged. Wires loose on the ground. It's too much to name all. Maintenance seems to have been overdue for a long time.
As if that wasn't enough, the price was also way too high for what you get. The value for money is completely missing.
For us this was a huge setback. In my opinion, this hotel definitely does not meet the expectations you can have from a 3-star hotel. Personally, I don't think it deserves even one star.
We won't be coming back here and I can't recommend the hotel.

Bad “hotel”
We arrived at about 15:00-16:00
Staff was nice but the rooms are really unacceptable for an amount of €80 a room at 4X4 a bathroom where the mold is unavoidable and with a bed of 140cm in width for 2 people you can not do to a person for €80 when we talked to the owner to ask him why it looks neat on the site and then get a bed of 140cm for 2 people we got in response it said on the site that it was a bed of 140cm I have never had to look at a size of a hotel bed in my entire life a student house is even better than what I have had to stay in these two nights breakfast was otherwise fine nice staff but those rooms are unacceptable I hope they reflect on this

What a misery. Barracks are more luxurious
This was truly the most awful experience ever!!! This hotel really can't call itself a hotel. More like a barracks. I had to pay 190 euros but this is worth less than 10 euros a night. The pictures on booking .com still looked okay but once there it appears to be a farmer’s deception. Filthy little moldy room with a tiny bed where I had to lie with my adolescent son spoon spoon under 1 duvet. If it's up to me, this old bastard will be burned down immediately. May not call itself a hotel!! I'm going to work on this and I'll never come back here, ever!!! Black list

Not recommended!
I had booked our room through Hotel Specials and received confirmation from them. We arrived at the hotel a little early to check in, but unfortunately no one was there. We didn't think the hotel looked attractive from the outside. Dated and unkempt. Anyway, it was only for one night. Even though reading the reviews made us feel a bit uneasy.
We went into town and came back at 7am to check in. The reception itself is also a bit dingy and looks unprofessional. The owner came from a back room, where they apparently live, and asked what I was doing. Uhhhh, check in? That wasn't possible, it had been full for weeks. I showed my reservation, but he said that was not possible. No place, bad luck, goodbye. And there we were. Then spent 1 1/2 hours calling and searching the internet for an available hotel. Everything in the area was full. Ultimately we were able to go back to the Bastion in Amersfoort, a half-hour drive away. Of course I asked about hotel specials. They responded quickly and politely as follows:
The hotel itself determines their availability on our website. We confirmed your booking to the hotel on September 28. It is annoying that your booking ultimately could not go ahead and that no solution was thought about on the spot.
Since we did not have to pay anything, we unfortunately cannot provide any compensation for this. Since we want to do something for you, I would like to offer you to pay the service costs (10 or 15 euros) for your next booking.
In any case, we will never go to this hotel again and advise others not to do so! It's really disappointing!
