Great reception staff

Nice hotel quiet room great location buy the difference were the reception staff. So helpful with luggage parking changing room (the first one was tiny!), recommending place to eat and visit, how public transport worked, just excellent

Luxury and comfort

A nice clean hotel. You were not bothered by the noises from the city, while the hotel is located right in the center. The hotel has its own parking and bicycle storage which was very pleasant.

We zijn blij dat u de kamer als schoon en rustig heeft ervaren, ondanks onze centrale ligging midden in het hart van Arnhem. Ook is het prettig om te horen dat onze eigen parkeerplaatsen en fietsenstalling hebben bijgedragen aan een zorgeloos verblijf.

Hotel Haarhuis

Nice Hotel, we were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed it very much.
Reception was good, with friendly staff.
Had 15 min, called in advance to ask if there was parking behind the hotel. We were lucky and could park nicely behind the hotel on their own parking lot. There are costs involved.
Room looked good with a view of Central Station. Room was clean and comfortable.
Rooftop bar was always full, you really need to discuss this in time. I think they come from outside the hotel too!! So is something you should not look forward to when you book this hotel.
Downstairs it is atmospheric and there are nice seats, to have a drink in the evening.
Breakfast was very good with freshly squeezed orange juice and for the lover a nice fresh glass of Cava. Furthermore, everything there to have a delicious breakfast.
Hotel is within walking distance of downtown.
For those who love Greek food there is within walking distance a very good, cozy and tasty Greek restaurant " Rhodes " really recommended.
A little further on is Restaurant Batavia, this is an Indonesian restaurant, is also highly recommended. Cozy furnishings and great food.

Ook bedankt voor uw eerlijke feedback over onze Rooftop Bar. Door de populariteit van The Roof, zowel onder hotelgasten als bezoekers van buitenaf, raden wij inderdaad aan om vooraf een reservering te maken om teleurstelling te voorkomen.
Daarnaast waarderen we het dat u uw tips over de restaurants in de omgeving met toekomstige gasten deelt. Onze centrale ligging maakt het inderdaad eenvoudig om zowel het stadscentrum als diverse gezellige restaurants te ontdekken.

I don't understand how this hotel could have earned five stars. Our room was exceptionally small, even by European standards. It was the smallest bed and room of our trip. There was a lot of dust in our room-I don't think they ever give the room a deep clean, the sheets felt low quality, the lighting in the bathroom was terrible, the elevator was infuriatingly slow, the menu in the restaurant was very limited, no breakfast included. There was an event in town the night we were there and the hotel charged unconscionable prices as a result. It was really a disappointment.

Beautiful hotel, super friendly staff, right by the station

The staff was incredibly friendly! Cozy and beautiful hotel with a calm, good vibe, extremely well located when traveling by train -- right across from the station.
The room itself was comfortable, very nice bed, good bathroom, and I appreciate the fridge in the room ( that came in handy to keep my water bottle and sandwich, etc). The only downside is that the rooms are not so well insulated, so I could hear people walking and talking outside, and some banging on the heaters etc. But luckily, I did not hear the people in the other rooms, so it wasn't too bad and it did not keep me up at night. I would still come back to this hotel if I get a good deal again. All in all, a nice hotel with incredibly friendly staff -- the friendly staff really makes the stay extra pleasant.
