A place like home!
What a lovely place... It's a modern, well equipped B&B. The rooms are nice and bright, the house is beautiful and the host an angel. She made breakfast every morning with a smile and whatever wish you had she would accommodate it. Also ever room has a DVD player and they have a small collection of DVD's. So even for a rainy, tired afternoon you will have something to do. The location is great, very close to the center, the beach and the recreation center, yet calm. We will definitely come back!!!

I would advise everyone against this apartment.
I can only agree with the negative reviews. It is an absolutely run-down, catastrophic apartment that you will get. Nothing of what you see as an offer on the internet is true. Only from the outside. The photo is real. The breakfast is an insult, because the rolls are barely 4 cm big. I uploaded a few photos here, take a look at the photos yourself and judge for yourself. Checking in is a complete disaster. Nothing works there at all. There were several other people standing outside the door with us who also couldn't get in. The room was not cleaned, but just take a look at the photos we took yourself. It's a shame that you can't upload a video here, because that is even much worse than the few photos here. .. also beware of the note that there is a television on site. Yes. There is a television on site. There are Dutch television programs and a few radio stations there. You cannot receive German programs. The faucet was loose. Beware of this as well. This was already criticized by others in previous years, and we just found the exact same thing here now. The stairs going up are extremely dangerous. The stair railing is loose, and the stairs are so steep and so narrow that you can only bring your luggage up over your head. Also beware of the person who is in charge there. He has no problem with simply putting you out on the street on the same day you arrive. You must not complain when you are there, because otherwise he will come by immediately and threaten you with immediate eviction. Take care of yourselves.

De hete Dorsvloer
Nice renovated old farm house, at walking distance from the city center.
Own free parking at the accommodation.
Very clean and spacious rooms, with a shared kitchen and living space.
We stayed here during a warm weekend in August, when we entered the room we where blown away from the heat inside! No ventilation or airconditioning to turn on, it was above 30* C in the room and it was very difficult to fall asleep.
Couldn’t let the window open, cause we where at the ground floor and the front gate was open the whole night!
Anyone could enter the room from the street.
After finding solutions, we fell asleep around 3-4 o’clock at night
Around 6:30u someone started smashing pots and pans in the kitchen in order to make the breakfast.
We left tired and exhausted, it was a terrible experiance!!
For a 156€/night, you expect a good sleep…

Won’t be coming back
The apartment and the place are perfect, near the Main Street and the beach. The apartment was not cleaned, because according to the reception, they never clean the apartment. It was not mentioned in the website or during checkin. After they say, that it because it is not a hotel. I founder quite odd, because They call themselves b&b ( apparently bike and bed). So they didn’t changed the towels and we had only two tablets for the dishwasher, there was no vacuum cleaner, just small swipes. We didn’t bother to try to cleane. At the reception they were rude and it was ok if we won’t be coming back. Well apparently with the end of quarantaine, people got arrogant again. Tourist are coming anyway, so why bother.

De Dorsvloer: Never again
1) Nobody to welcome us on our arrival. We had to phone for a lady to come and let us in.
2) We were given the "Farwe" room. This room is to be avoided at all costs. There is no window apart a roof window that opens up just a few centimeters. Consequently the room has no ventilation whatsoever and is like a sauna. They gave us a ventilator but it was useless: the temperature didn't drop a single degree. Sleepless night guaranteed!
