Always happy to return

We really like this hotel because it is clean, cozy, and directly near the beach (about 50m). Friendly and attentive staff.
Whether old or new building of the hotel, the rooms are nice and functional. Breakfast is okay. Everyone will be satisfied In the old building, there is just no elevator; this should be known by older people or those with limitations.

Clean, quiet, near the beach, good breakfast

We enjoyed the large room, newly-renovated bathroom, proximity to the beach and the main street, and the quiet. The beds are good too. And we could have our dog with us while in the room for an extra charge. The wifi was also good. The breakast buffet was all we could wish for, but they could add another coffee machine to shorten the wait.

Avoid at all cost

This hotel should be avoided at all costs. Rather than a hotel, this is actually a block of outdated apartments.
During my stay, the staff at the hotel locked one of the doors inside my apartment such that I couldn't get into the bedroom. I found this out upon my return from a dinner just after midnight and there was nobody at reception. I had to walk to another hotel in egmond to try and sort it out. It took 2 hours to get into the bedroom in the apartment - no apology from the staff or anything - they said "we are 3 star what do you expect?".
Atrocious. Avoid.
