Terrible food

After a long beautiful bike ride we arrived at the Inkelshoes. A beautiful location : beautiful view ; nicely laid tables outside. The food was terrible. Bone-dry salmon and a distasteful looking pasta with unclear chicken. Both sick of eating at night. Our advice; Never stay for dinner there. Quickly continue or cycle. Is really really bad food,

Turn-off.

Last weekend we had rented a ‘suite’ here for a night. What a turn-off. Dirty carpeting, old damaged cupboards and doors and flies into the lamps. Sanitary was fortunately still somewhat clean. Nice area but we will definitely not be back here.

Taken off for us

Fourth time at this hotel. Standard room booked with of course a bathroom. Room 3 did not, it had a very cramped shower cubicle in which it was impossible to get dressed after showering so to have some privacy with your wet bath towel to go to the separate toilet to change there. Sink and mirror in the room next to your bed. Have reported it to the owner when checking out but he did not want to hear about it. Didn't listen, but was talking through us in a loud voice. Should we have reported immediately upon arrival, she is right, she could have given it to another. You don't do this to your guests. The famous exude, never going to have complaints about it etc. We paid for a standard room but that is clearly not this one because what there is only one of them. The hotel first sent an email to give them the chance to respond but it was so unsatisfactory, they assume their own right. Madam recommended to spend a night with a friend to experience a thing or two. Beds were narrow but good, room looked neat. The much praised breakfast could use some improvement. Weak croissants, half-baked pistols. Last tip for madam, if you provide breakfast, look at guests, say good morning, smile once but don't walk with a steered face.

Between website and reality: a world

We relied on the presentation on the website and that is very misleading.
The hotel is in its juice, frozen in the 80s. Carpeted floor, furniture of rooms and old commons!
The whole is generally clean except for the tablecloths of the restaurant really dirty!
Pass your way for dinner!
The service is at 6:00 for everyone. The dishes are served at the same time to all guests, as in a nursing home. The menu is imposed (it is not clearly explained on the site), no one cares about your diet or allergies!
The quality... is not bad but it is far from good. The salmon cocktail is drowned in a mixture of mayonnaise, pineapple and canned mandarins. We even found pieces of chicken there!
Onion soup has enough to pierce your stomach because it is so vinegary. Chicken curry with industrial chicken, tasteless curry sauce with canned pineapple, poor quality fries and vegetables straight out of the frozen package.
The dessert tasteless, just passable. Drinks and coffee at extra cost.
Breakfast is okay but not crazy either. Some homemade proposals like meatloaf, jams and cakes. Everything else came out of the supermarket. Juices are industrial too.
Apart from the calm and the view, there is nothing exceptional.

Room was disappointing

Suite no. 30 for 2 nights
Price around 165 euros per night
Dirty shower cabin doors, toilet walls, stains & fingers
Windows were dirty, circles on the lampshade and ceiling
Mm...not what we imagined
Staff is friendly, breakfast and dinner excellent
Our room very dated
