Good for a very quiet getaway
I was here alone with my dog to take a personal break.
I was initially very skeptical, as large parks and resorts are not really my thing, but I was generally pleasantly surprised.
My bungalow was very clean, well and modernly furnished, really everything one needs.
But I was also lucky that my terrace or my view went completely and exclusively into the greenery, wonderful, and veeery quiet. You could hear quiet disco or something similar from a distance, but it was not really disturbing and I am extremely sensitive to that.
It was strange that an extension, although requested on the penultimate day, was not possible, but I could have very well rebooked on the day of departure: It was by no means fully booked in my opinion, many chalets seemed empty (high season August and weekend)

Animal suffering is ignored by Hofparken.
We have been guests at Hofparken Wiltershaar multiple times and unfortunately cannot recommend the park.
We were particularly shocked by the treatment of the chickens and roosters kept there. At the beginning of the year, we noticed a significant eye infection in one rooster and informed the park about it via email. We received no response to our message. During a later stay, we found that the same rooster was now blind and also had a severe, obviously treatable foot condition. No one responded to numerous other attempts to contact us.
Since, from our perspective, no one was taking care of the animal, we ultimately contacted animal protection. The rooster was subsequently picked up and received veterinary care. Unfortunately, we did not receive any further information.
The living conditions also did not leave a good impression on us. The chicken coop appeared very small, and there did not seem to be enough elevated sleeping places, so several animals had to sleep on the ground. The stall door was partially open at night, and during some of our visits, the animals did not have visibly fresh water. Overall, the facility in this area appeared neglected and not animal-friendly.
We also found it disappointing that our concerns were apparently not taken seriously by either the reception or the management. Anyone who keeps animals also bears responsibility for their health and well-being.
Unfortunately, the vacation apartments were not always satisfactorily clean during our visits either.
We want to raise awareness among other guests with this review to take a look at the animals themselves and address any irregularities. It is clear to us that we will not return, as we do not wish to support the conditions we observed.

Disappointing
For us, unfortunately, never again. If you look at the park online you can see nature and tranquility, exactly what we were looking for. With dog, hot tub and sauna and fenced garden, costs a few pennies but then you have what we thought.
Unfortunately contactless check-in is very impersonal but good, that was not the problem. From Monday to Friday we have been in the noise of excavators and other work, no rest at all. Early in the morning, the migrant workers drift by to return at the end of the day. The park was otherwise pretty empty so why exactly they had placed us along the road through the park is beyond me. Totally no privacy. If you were in the hot tub you could see that from the road and also the sauna you could see in from the road. The road through the park where you were allowed to drive 15 km, except for a few guests, really didn't bother anyone, not even the staff in the golf carts.
The cottage was beautiful in itself but nothing special, not extra luxury, more standard. Bed was small but good. Cleaning is really below par, dust everywhere under the beds and sofa, prints on the inside of the windows and to the inventory also lacked a thing or two. The most beautiful thing about the cottage was the fence.
Unfortunately we had paid extra for a late checkout on Monday, we should not have done that because at 8 am the noise went loose again.
The story can go on for much longer, but let me leave it at that. For almost 1400 euros we counted on a week of rest, relaxation and privacy. Unfortunately, none of this. Restaurant or something, was skillfully nailed shut.
We were there in the first week of June, I waited to see if there would be a response to the customer satisfaction form, but unfortunately no response to that either. Also my comment on social media, was not responded to, in fact my comment was simply deleted.
Apparently, one cannot deal with criticism. If it's good it's good but this was just really bad. If you still want to go, do not choose cottage 68.

Unbelievable
We checked in on Friday, February 13th at 3pm. The heating was completely off on arrival, although the outside temperature was about 5 degrees. Of course, we turned them on directly.
At 6 p.m., the apartment was still not warm, so we called. We were told this would take longer. We've been running the heat up to 24 degrees all night.
The next morning (outside temperature 0 degrees) the apartment was just 16 degrees. Called again – a member of staff came by and said it might take a while.
For just under 500 euros, I expect an accommodation to be at least properly heatable in winter. So the stay was unfortunately very uncomfortable.
At 6 p.m., the apartment was still not warm, so we called. We were told this would take longer. We've been running the heat up to 24 degrees all night.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!
Carbite is shot throughout the area. And on New Year's Eve fireworks at the park. The apartment I stayed in is not worth it to come out with my dogs so far from home still cheated. Please have them take this off their site. This review is mainly intended to WARN other dog owners!!! Don't go there at the turn of the year.
