Great location, one room good different drama.

Location to bread factory is top. Within walking distance. Car neat behind a fence. The atmosphere and staff can however receive a small course in the area of attention to the guests. Sometimes it takes a long time to get seen. The rooms are changing , we have been there twice now. First room was top! 2nd room drama, with your pillow is the light switch, so at every turn. You're awake again. 1st time eaten, starter roll, got 4 minuscule rolls with lots of dip. Had dried ham added got boiled ham. Waited 1 hour for our main dish (while there were 2 other tables) got a well-done, tasteless burger. Not satisfied. Got my money back from the citizen. And ordered a schnitzel, which came up against super fast. 2nd stay during check-in already indicated, extra pillow and towel. He never arrived. Asked again in the evening, hours later he came back because there were no more pillows. It's a shame. Breakfast is against good not super special. Get well-stocked contineu. As a standholder of the bread factory you can stay here and also have breakfast. (Provided you have the room we had the 2nd time!)

Not bad but not good either

The room we got on the 5th floor was neat and seemed to meet everything you want. The adjacent highway is almost impossible to hear through the double windows, unless you open the windows for fresh air. The room was neat and clean. The tram to the center is within walking distance. Unfortunately, no day tickets are sold at the hotel, while this would be possible. These can only be obtained digitally or in the service points at the stations.
Upon returning to the room in the evening, the temperature there appeared to be 27 degrees and the air conditioning did not work! The staff failed for a moment but after complaining twice a member of staff came and he could only find that this was indeed so. We were offered a new room. This would be the last free room. On the 7th floor.
Here the air conditioning did work and the temperature was a neat 23 degrees. So I took everything to the 7th floor. By now it was 10:30 p.m.
Unfortunately, when the TV went off and we wanted to go to sleep the sound of the highway appeared to have the upper hand. In addition, there was a piercing sound that looked like a helicopter flying by or landing on the roof.
In short, I haven't slept a wink almost all night. Maybe double windows can also offer a solution here.
In addition, the room was not really very clean and one of the two bedside lamps was broken.
Fortunately, my wife had little trouble and she was able to sleep well.
The breakfast was just good. Not excessive but sufficient and tasty.
That there is a (closed) car park at this hotel is and plus. We were early and had all the place. But when we returned in the evening it was completely full and there were even problems between guests about parking.
In the hotel they don't make a big deal about parking. Full is full. And when we wanted to leave the car until later in the afternoon on the departure day, this was also no problem. So we could just take the tram into the center.
In short, not bad and not good but a few areas for improvement.

Buyer Beware

I booked a room in January 2026 through the hotel website and paid nearly 2000 dollars for a two week stay for March . I booked a hot deal. In February my husband was in the hospital in the United State for 10 days. I contacted the hotel immediately when the doctors said he could not travel. I asked the hotel to cancel the March reservarion and to reschedule when my husband was cleared to travel. I sent them the hospital discharge summary and also his four week daily infusion schedule. After several emails and a visit by a family member in The Hague, I was told they were sorry that my husband was ill, but could not reschedule or refund. Eventually they cancelled the reservation and did not refund or reschedule. BUYER BEWARE

Basic business hotel

A no-nonsense hotel near Delf. Have had an unpleasant experience: booked on the wrong date and called less than a minute later and was told that I had been unlucky because it was a fixed booking that could not be changed. Fortunately, Bastion's head office is a lot more understanding.
The rooms are basic and it should be noted that many of the standard rooms do not have bedside lighting.
Also 1 elevator is not in order, I had indicated this at the reception but nothing was done with it.
But there are also positive points: the breakfast is top notch and a fresh omelette is even baked for you if desired. The lady who takes care of breakfast is really a sun in the house!

Worst hotel yet.

Room smelled very much of smoke.
Shower thermostat was broken.
Lots of noise from the motorway.
The food was really sad.
The breakfast was fine and friendly staff at breakfast.
