Good and decent hotel within easy reach of city center.

Hotel is well located (150 meters from center) with private (paying) parking and closed bicycle storage in separate building (charging E-bike provided).
Rooms are newly renovated with excellent beds, fine bathroom, coffee maker,...Windows insulate good sound (against street side but sound cars if window open at night). Curtains ensure sufficient blackout.
Breakfast is certainly extensive enough but can be improved a bit such as fruit (mix) is present but from cans , scrambled eggs are sufficient but can be cooked a bit more.
Friendly and helpful staff.

Very correct

Outing with the granddaughters, two rooms requested close together and at the back, which was fine. Small rooms but super neat. Correct reception, and the car was allowed to stay after checking out. The breakfast was more than adequate, the quality of the bread could be just a little better, but there our requirements are high. Decision, price quality top, near the center and private parking

Lovely big bed. Really settled down.

Nice hotel, within walking distance of center. He can park his car at the hotel. We could get into the room earlier, which was very nice. We had the luxurious room with Super nice bed, we really came to rest. Great breakfast. We will definitely be back when we are in Valkenburg.

fine, but value for money is far from

Stayed here one night on New Year's Eve 2025. An in itself a good stay, not special. Small neat room, great breakfast buffet.
We used the New Year's Eve dinner on site. I understand the prices are a little higher, on a night like that, but €55 for a regular main course is very high. It tasted fine, but no star-quality, no special layout or ingredients.
A dessert for €18 for a standard ready-made ice cream schnitte is also on the pricey side.
But the next morning we were shocked by the bill: €3/pp for a porti mayonnaise calculated. We were offered mayonnaise, yes delicious was our reaction, not knowing that this was passed on in this way. With a main course of €55 this could have been a bit less.
In short, the reality was far from there.

Great hotel –

We stayed 2 days in the hotel and that was fine. Nice large parking lot with closed bicycle parking. Very friendly welcome at check-in and a clean room with Nespresso machine and cups and kettle. We found the new mattresses much too soft and passed this on to the reception and they immediately solved that by laying down other mattresses. The only downside would be that the rooms were quite warm ,but the window could open and there was a fan . The breakfast was also fine and was well stocked. Furthermore, we found all the staff very friendly and helpful, for us definitely recommended to come back to this hotel again.
