A cozy and quiet pension with a stunning view.
Located on the trail of the Jeju Ole 6th Course, Jeju Aurum offers an absolutely breath taking view of the ocean. It is close to the famous Jeongbang and Cheonjeyeon Waterfalls.
As it's a pension. it provides few facilities. It has a quaint cafe and a barbeque pit. The room was clean and warm during my cold winter trip.
It's a great break away from the hassles of the city.

Found a GEM on Jeju! An Excellent Beachfront Property plus Fantastic Host, Mr. Hong
It took us a long time to find perfect properties. Reading reviews after reviews and all properties had high ratings in jeju, we were confused which to choose? .
So we decided to look closely at hotels by the ocean. Some will claim by the ocean but one has to walk some way. But not this property, just in front divided by a road, is the beautiful ocean and a huge rock. Waves splashing, even spool of dolphins if you are lucky like us. Mr. Hong called out to us once he spotted them. So incredible!
He is the owner and manager, he runs this pension or apartment like hotel from 8am to 8pm. He cooks for you in the cafe at the premise. Just an incredible fun place, a home away from home feel.The soothing background music in the cafe omg! The meal was not over the top but taste fresh, healthy and delicious. We had dietary concerns but nothing is impossible for him. He just whizz out the lunch items in no time, much to our surprise! He speaks perfect English!
Nothing was too much for him. He speaks to his guests and before i could say who we were, he knew and welcome us, help us with gps issue, gave us lesson on what we should see on daily basis so we will not waste time. If you are lucky to meet him, you will have an excellent trip like us. We were in jeju 5 days 4 nites. Its a pity we only booked one night cos we were unaware that this place was most perfect. Central to all sites and with an oceanview so pretty, we are ready to return again and next ime, we will stay here throughout.
The property is so clean. We had double room and it opens into the outside. As it is winter, the heater was on. The bed, the pillows were so comfortable.
We would like a higher floor room next time. I think there is a duplex type with washing machine for family.
It was just a short drive from seogiwipo city. The gps helps alot. So rent a car, get the staff to help you key in the hotel address or telephone number and off you go. Very accurate gps. We struggled with the gps on day 1 but become master afterwards.
It is on the famous ole 6 pathway so popular area.
We stayed in 4 different properties and this by far, in lieu of location, rate, service and product, is the best one!

Bonne et agréable surprise
La pension est située à 4 kilomètres de Seogwipo. Il faut un véhicule pour s'y rendre. La pension est face à la mer et à proximité des sentiers de randonnée. Faire son jogging le long de la côte est un plaisir. La chambre est spacieuse, munie d'un air conditionné et les vitres ont un double vitrage. Tranquillité et sommeil profond garantis. Une cuisine commune est bien équipée et tout l'équipement est disponible pour un BBQ. Le patron parle anglais et est sympa. Possibilité de boire son café le matin. Nous y retournerons dès que l'occasion se présente. Rapport qualité prix est très bon.
