Ho HomeTel, a taste of home in Seoul!!!
We were still very lucky to book affordable and cozy rooms at Ho Hometel because now their fully sold out. At just 60 sgd per night for the big and spacious double room nothing got match their rooms which were very affordable, massive, cozy and comfortable for their lucky guests. As we were browsing for an affordable hotel for big groups like us families Ho Hometel came in right away. I was drawn by its Exceptional reviews and without any hesitations I booked 3 standard double rooms right away. At 23 sqm with comfortable Double Bed nothing could get better than this!!! And the location is absolutely the best - beside a cute/charming park with Sakura, the best 7 Eleven in Korea, lots of aesthetic cafes and restaurants, and most of all in between 2 main Seoul metro stations - Hapjeong and Mangwon stations. Its also an ideal place to escape the hustle and crowds of popular tourist spots like Myeongdong and Hongdae. So glad we booked this room and got a good deal on a busy Sakura travel period!!!
We arrived late at night from Manila to Incheon airport and Ho Hometel’s frontdesk is only until 9 PM. However, the staff gave us instructions for our room key cards and he allowed us to have 2 rooms together side by side in the 4F and one at the 5F. The staff was reachable via different channels so I got to talk to him while still in Manila. The rooms we booked are for Standard room for 2 adults and not for kids. They have designated rooms for families with kids. Since we were not aware of this setup he allowed us to keep our rooms with 1 kid - thanks Ho Hometel appreciate vm. We booked Airport transfer service and arrived around 2 AM at our hotel and the keys were there and access to our rooms are every easy - they have a lift much to our relief. True to their description in Agoda, the rooms were really big, spacious, comfy and homey. We feel like home indeed!!! They have big double beds with 4 pillows - a big plus for us!!! They have a big spacious toilet as well and water heating works perfectly and pressure is strong. They have full on containers for body and hair wash, clean and comfy body and face towels. They don’t do daily housekeeping nor change towels/bedsheet but if you would like one they charge for 20K Won. You can also wash your toilets/sheets at their free laundry area in the kitchenette/common area at the back of hotel premises.
What we loved about their rooms is the Japanese style platform for shoes/footwear which you can remove upon entering the main room. They have centrlized heating during Spring and if you need cool air from outside you can open the glass/wooden window which blocks the cold air. We have city view for our rooms but we didn’t open our windows because it was quite cold Spring single digit weather in Korea that time. They provide big wall mounted flat screen TV with lots of local channels and WIFI is really fast and stable as expected with Korea. Each of their rooms have different layout and settings and design/colors but they maintain the same aesthetics of neutral tones for the walls and floors and coloured tables with compartments and a wooden cushioned chair. What I loved about their rooms are the big fridge provided with freezer which means you can keep ice cream and ice for your cold drinks. They have have side tables with lamps and compartments and provide electrical outlet extension cord so you could charge multiple devices at the same time - Kudos to Ho Hometel!!!
On your first night, they give 2 bottles of complimentary water which is a plus and they sell one for 500 won each. They also provide Water kettle and for your glasses and paper cups you could get them from the common area below and bring to your rooms. They also provide slippers for toilet and room which is another big plus for us!!! Speaking of the common area downstairs, they have a big kitchenette/laundry area and they provide free laundry detergent for washing and drying services. They also have water dispenser here/tea/free noodles and lots of table ware/utensils provided!!! There is a big wooden table here for dining and drinks as well as another one of the front side area near the entrance for smoking. Parking is also free and there are lots of cherry blossoms at their backyard. You are also required to throw your trash at their trash areas here at the backyard. We took lots of photos and videos here!!!
Check out is also easy and they keep your luggages at the back. Uber is Korea is quite affordable so its easy just to take Uber also at their hotel!!! If ever we will go back to Seoul anytime soon Ho Hometel is definitely at the top of our list!!! Highly recommended affordable hotel in Seoul which caters to all your needs!!!
