GREAT

This hotel is really great! The lobby has a really sweet design. I can sit there for hours and spend time. Really a great place to listen to your head and relax.Staffs are very polite. The rooms are very nice and it has relaxing colors. Bathroom and kitchen is really clean. That is a wonderful hotel and you can stay there for a long time. I would love to come here once more. I love it!

Band of filthy

This Inn made me lose faith in booking reviews. After reading a lot of the reviews that were more than positive and seeing the Rating that exceeded 4/5, we decided to book a twin room in "this amazing hotel".
Everything is not to be thrown away, so I would start with the positive aspects of the Pension which will very quickly be summarized:
It is possible to drop off the bags in advance, which we were able to do, and the manager is extremely kind and rather understanding. Here.
Now to the reasons why we stayed only one night and asked for a refund (which was accepted without flinching):
As indicated on booking, the room was small but functional but two problems remained: the first was the bathroom sink that leaked as soon as it was opened flooded the floor of the latter. The second was the dull and unbearable sound of an airbus engine that was heard all the time. For these two reasons we asked to change rooms. Of note, the manager went up instantly as soon as he read our message to check the problems cited. We appreciated the speed of action but it would have been better to notify us of his arrival since we were eating at that time and it was 11pm.
Sir, come in, screw in a bolt from the sink and accept our change of room. Given the time we propose to make the exchange the next day.
Here comes the next day, the sink leaks...but whatever, the manager comes to talk to us about the change of room. Fortunately, he would have found an identical room just below... if only... Rather than a similar room without noise, we find ourselves in a room worse than the first; smaller and dirtier. The walls were stained with whatever liquid. We had to complain about it and raise the tone for about ten minutes before going back to our original room and looking for a solution. We didn't want to stay there anymore, we had to find another hotel or airbnb to break this deadlock. That's when the manager comes back, accepts and proves us right before offering us another larger room for 3 people.
By looking quickly at the room in question, we accept. The room was not cleaned, so he suggests we wait until he can do it.
30/40 minutes later, the room is ready. Ready? No, hair in the bathroom quickly wetted with water, stained sheets to the tacky touch, defective air conditioning. That was enough, we found an airbnb and went looking for the manager to ask for a refund. After a seasoned chase throughout the Pension we found him.
In the end we paid for the night we stayed and got refunded.
Conclusion: don't believe the reviews. Thanks to the filthy people who dared to give it a good Rating, your hygiene is questionable.

Near to Hongik subway

Stayed at Sunny Hills Hostel this time round. Stayed in a triple room. Size of room is ok. There's space for our large luggages and the plus point is there is a lift. So you don't have to lug your heavy luggage.
The hostel is near to Hongik subway. If you take the Arex, just exit at exit 2 and it's about 10-15 minutes walk.
In front of the hostel there is the convenience store CU 25. And there is a shop selling fried chicken and a seafood restaurant next door.
Breakfast is pretty simple. Just bread, eggs, cereals, milk, juice and hot drinks.
The price is pretty cheap compared to other hostels in the area.

Good location and Nice Staff

It's near Metro Station, several supermarkets in this area. The room was clean, but bathroom was small, and smelt not good. There were washing machines in the hostel, it's very convenient. The staff was kind to help us order fried chicken, gave us some helpful suggestions.

New facilities, really value for money!

I’m so happy to have found this latest accommodation discovery in Hongdae. Relative to all hostels I’ve stayed in Seoul, this place is one of the best—new and with nice elevators (which is a really good thing if you have luggages). The room I booked is for two but the space and the beds are good enough for 3 people. They also cleaned up our room (thank you!) during my 5-day stay. Like any other hostel, you cook your own breakfast but it was very convenient because the kitchen and the dining area is spacious. The place is only a 7mim walk to the station. Most of all, I had the pleasure of meeting Jamie, who’s very warm and welcoming to the guests. She even gives us tips when we were on our way to Everland. Will surely stay here again!
