Best place to stay in Seward, maybe all of Alaska :)

Absolutely delightful in every way. So very clean, charming, and comfortable! This was our favorite stay and a wonderful bargin. You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful small hotel

Steller Inn is only 5 minutes from downtown Steward in a very quiet wooded area. We stayed in Room #4 which had everything we needed. It is roomy, had a small refrigerator, microwave, coffe maker, tea maker and comes with utencils and paper plates/bowles/napkins. The bathroom is spacious and has it's own heater which helped us dry out wet clothes. Our only recommendation is to add a lamp near the table. There is ample parking and Salmon Bake restaurant is right nearby.

Beautiful and clean Elderberry cabin. Salmon swimming in creek on property

Elderberry cabin is beautiful and clean. Bathroom is clean and the bed is comfortable and clean. Kitchen has small fridge, electric kettle, microwave, paper plates/bowls and plastic utensils. It's amazing how much the owners were able to fit so much into the cabin. It was a lovely experience. There is a creek on the property with salmons swimming. Squirrels playing in the trees. There is an area with raspberries so we picked some for dinner. We had a wonderful time. Thank you!

Cozy, charming, affordable

When we first arrived in Seward, I lamented not booking a hotel near the harbor, but then I arrived at Stellar Inn. The property is not far from town but still felt like it's a lot more isolated. I enjoyed sitting by the fire pit while the kid explored the creek. The website does state that the bathrooms for standard rooms are private, but a lot of reviews below indicate they are shared--They are private!. When I return to Seward I will try to book a premium room so that I can enjoy the deck (if the weather cooperates).

BEST STAY EVER

FANTASTIC in every way! Beautiful gardens, lawns, and log cabins. She thinks of every fine detail. From fresh ground coffee, luxury towels, fresh chilled coffee creamer in the frig, & spa shampoo. You name it, she has thought of it. Rooms are very large and some with a balcony. The grounds are so beautiful with gardens, a fire pit, sitting areas, and even a bridge over the creek where we saw salmon spawning. She even offered us free bear spray and a fan to use during our stay. She text us road construction and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. The beds were so comfortable I didn’t want to get up in the morning. Best stay I had my whole 2 weeks in Alaska.
