Staff was great. Room was clean and nice. But you could tell that someone had previously smoked in the room. Good stay and will probably be back in July.

We enjoyed our stay. Property was located in a nice wooded residential area. Well maintained. Good value for our money. Comfortable bed and quiet surrounding. Would stay again on our next visit to the Roanoke Valley. Manager was friendly and very helpful.

It is super clean, it neatly finished, nicely decorated, fully equipped. Outdoor space neatly maintained. A big 10+.

Local extended stay gem

Last week, on day 51 of my stay, I checked out of Affordable Corporate Suites on Overland Drive, where I was living temporarily due to a major home renovation. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel- and believe me, 50 days gives you plenty of time to assess quality. The suites are nicely decorated, and the furniture looked nearly-new. The mattress was very comfortable, and bed and bath linens were of good quality. The little kitchen, furnished with four-burner stove/oven, microwave, nearly full-size fridge, keurig, and toaster, had all of the pots and pans I would have needed, if I had cooked. The bathroom was spotless and very bright, thanks to a big LED mirror, with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Everything was very clean and well-cared for. The hotel provided high speed internet and satellite tv. My room was quiet, and I felt very secure at all times. The guests I encountered were polite and pleasant. It really felt like a little neighborhood. I was surprised to learn how many people live there permanently. The manager, who is very kind and accommodating, lives on premises and is always available by phone. After nearly two months, I was ready to come home, but I could not have stayed at a cleaner, safer, better furnished hotel. I would highly recommend Affordable Corporate Suites on Overland to anyone looking for a short or long-term hotel room.

Was just there for one night but would definitely consider for longer stay, had everything you need.
