Home away from Home
Well i stayed here from September 2025 thru April 2026 so I have an in depth review to give.
I’ll begin with the owner who is on site daily to ensure that the property is exceptionally maintained and parking lot secured by a 7/8 ft. tall fence and private security company. on patrol. I complement his commitment to protecting customers from any potential losses. The state of the art security system inside and outside the building was very comforting being that I had 2 foreign cars parked outside for 7 months.
The general manager Borris is also working hard on site to ensure customer satisfaction.
The manager Kesha takes her job very seriously when it comes to overseeing the cleanliness of the interior of the property and the quality of professional service throughout the hotel. I travel a lot and I have yet to encounter a manager so involved in all aspects of hotel. She deserves the to be Choice Hotel manager of the year if there is such an award.
Jasmine the second shift front desk manager is equipped with all the knowledge of the day staff, which allows her to handle any issues on the spot! Those who travel often understand how appreciating this is.
Erica the night shift front desk was very active, keeping fresh coffee throughout the night and keeping the lobby dust free.
Lynn, the housekeeping supervisor was great as well. I never had to request anything because she keeps the rooms fully stocked and clean.
Thomas the maintenance guy is always busy keeping the place running issue free. The floors and windows are being cleaned daily and it appears several times a day.
Last but not least is the cook. Oh my goodness, the food is like going to a restaurant. She makes home tasting food away from home. I never had to order any takeout for breakfast. She prepares a wide variety of foods. And there’s also plenty of fresh fruit, juices and yogurt available.
Overall it’s been the best all around experience for a temporary home away from home and I’d recommend them anytime.

Stay away, motel with hotel prices
The staff attempted to be as accommodating as possible. I believe the issues and problems with this location are not the fault of the staff, but the management and the cleaning schedules. The people are overworked, and they do not have enough time to properly clean and maintain this location the breakfast was satisfactory
& The cleanliness as soon as we checked into our hotel and turned on the light, we noticed that there was a suspicious looking white stain that was very similar to things that happened during adult activities. The phone was not operational so if anything happened, we had to use our cell phones. There was clumps of hair on the ground and the shampoo and conditioner bottles. The shampoo bottle fell off of the wall, and we attempted to put put it back on the wall. It kept falling.
There was what it could you possibly be back black mold on top of the wall right next to the smoke detector. The elevator floors were dirty and has sticky substances all over them. The mirrors in the hall could not have been clean for days at a time when looking at the pool the water in the pool had a mercury darker look to it like it was not properly filtering the door in the back did not work and when asked why it had not worked for several weeks.

So while the checking experience was great. Jasmine was very helpful checking me in due to a late flight that was not scheduled to arrive before 4am and the front desk attendant upon arrival was the great. The next morning day staff was not great. I was told by both the people the night before that it was confirmed for a late checkout at 12pm. We had a graduation at uc in early morning that we to attend. Upon getting back to our room housekeeping was in the room and stated they were doing a service to our room as they had us down for a stay over. We informed her that we would be checking out that day late st 12pm. She immediately apologized and said that she would come.back after that. A short time later the front desk called and stated that check out time was at 11 and that we were late. I then informed them that both people I spoke to last night confirmed a 12pm checkout. They said that was not correct that they were overbooked and could not accommodate. I further stated that I should not be promised something by their staff initially if it was not true. She said she would speak to her manager. As I was getting off the phone, a housekeeping supervisor came by knocking on the door stating that it was past 11am and that it was past check out time and was really rude about it. As I was checking out, I informed the staff about my disappointment in the lack of communication. However they also did not seem to care about my experience and said they would work on that in a tone.

Room not ready on arrival. Stood and watched as over a dozen other customers checked in to their rooms. Entry through the double sets of doors was by welcome desk buzz-in only, unless you already had your room key. You deduce what that implies about the neighborhood. Room-wise, TV wouldn't turn on. Blackout shades were out of their tracks and we fixed them (for free). Otherwise, room was clean and comfortable, although shower had no body wash or shampoo. Breakfast was ok.

Everyone that worked there from the ladies preparing breakfast to the front desk to the cleaning people, they were all so friendly. It made our stay that much better!
