I was a bit confused bc the sign in the elevator said the pools used a salt solution but I observed a worker adding chlorine tablets in each filter of the pool while several children were in it playing.

I stayed at this hotel for one night in April and had planned to stay again this month, and on a recurring basis eveey other month, but I am now considering canceling my upcoming reservation because of how poorly this situation was handled.
During my April stay, I was on the first floor near the front desk in room 123. I had traveled all day, checked in, changed, and went outside multiple times to smoke my cbd rolls in the outdoor courtyard area near the closed pool. I walked past the front desk repeatedly, and hotel staff saw me going outside and returning that night, and in the morning before I checked out. A pool cleaner was also outside while I was there. No one ever told me I was doing anything wrong, and no one ever raised any concern with me during my stay.
About a week later, I tried to book another stay through the Hilton Friends & Family portal and suddenly could not access it. I later learned through contacting my F&G referral that this hotel's management had apparently reported that I smoked in the room and had me removed from the Friends & Family list. This was shocking because I absolutely did not smoke in the room. I specifically request first-floor rooms so I can easily go outside, which I did, and was well documented by the front desk and whatever security footage there is. Further, if I were smoking in that room, the whole front desk area would have smelled. I was literally right there next to the lobby.
What makes this especially frustrating is that there was never any email, no notice, no call, no warning, no smoking charge, and no opportunity for me to respond. When I called the hotel directly, the front desk staff looked up my account and told me there were no remarks, no smoking violation, and no smoking charge associated with my stay. She also said she did not know why this would have happened, to try calling again when a manager was there. I tried calling back multiple times to speak with a manager and was never able to get one.
That is the real issue: a manager apparently made a serious accusation through back channels that directly affected my ability to use a Hilton benefit, but the hotel never documented it on my account, never notified me, never charged me, never gave me a chance to dispute it, and then was unavailable when I tried to get answers. That is incredibly unprofessional and unfair.
The front desk staff I interacted with were very kind, which makes this even more disappointing. The problem seems to be management and the lack of a clear, accountable process. I drive the East Coast every month now for work, and had planned to book Hilton properties consistently for those trips. I even have a current booking at this hotel!! (Which is what spurred this review because I now want to cancel.) After this experience, I honestly don't know if I feel comfortable staying here or recommending this property for personal or company travel unless management actually reviews what happened and resolves it. Guests should not be penalized based on an undocumented accusation they were never told about and never given a chance to dispute

From start to finish, everything was excellent. It was nice to be in a well-maintained property with friendly staff and in a well-positioned location. I must also mention that the cost was reasonable.

We stayed for three nights and our stay was wonderful. The stay was friendly and went above and beyond. We are coming back in July and we will be booking again.

Everything was amazing! The staff was extremely friendly, everyone seemed to go above and beyond to make sure our stay was nothing short of amazing. The beds were super comfortable, very clean rooms with housekeeping service whenever you need it. The breakfast was good, and the complimentary hot tea and coffee 24/7 was so nice to have. Overall, we will definitely be staying here again for any future visits. Thank you to the amazing staff!
