Thank you Melinda and David for these oasis style getaway. We had a wonderful 20th anniversary stay. It was so clean and homey. The pools were so clean. The room was immaculate. We realize you guys are still under construction but thank you again for making our stay with you very memorable.

Dirty room after a 2-hour wait
We arrived at 2:00 PM and were told our room would be ready by 3:00 PM. At 3:00 PM, we were asked to wait another 30 minutes, and then until 4:00 PM because the room was supposedly receiving a deep cleaning.
After waiting nearly two hours, we entered the room and were shocked by its condition. The room was extremely dirty. The bedding appeared not to have been changed, the blanket was dirty, the refrigerator was in terrible condition, and the kitchen area and walls were dirty as well.
We could not imagine spending the night in that room, so we checked out and left. The most frustrating part was being told the room was being thoroughly cleaned while we waited, only to find it in such an unacceptable condition. Very disappointing experience.

Our stay was horrible! Location was bad very sketchy. When we walked in there was no one at front counter lights were off with a hand written note with managers number saying to call. We were told our room was not available and we were upgraded to a different room that only entry was through a sliding door that could very easily broken into. Bedding had stains, no toilet paper, old furniture. There was a stick in window in bathroom that also can be very easily broken into. We were supposed to have a room with private pool but owner said a pipe broke and they were renovating from the reviews on other platforms this is the same story they have been telling customers. Although owner tried to make us feel comfortable it just was not worth the money but most importantly our safety we fled as soon as we could. This place is very misleading and used AI pictures to fool customers. Left me very disappointed and alarmed from using this and other platforms again! We left so quick we didn’t get pictures just look them up and see for yourself our situation was the same as others!!!!

Nothing worked, nothing looked clean
Absolutely horrible experience. We picked Spring House for a room with a private mineral pool, which we selected at booking. We arrived to Spring House Resort to a paper taped on the door of the locked office instructing check-ins to call Melinda. We call Melinda, no answer. We wander around by the pools until someone acknowledges us and alerts Melinda we're there. She takes us to our room that has a broken lock (on the only door to the room.) There is no private pool. All private pools are down and unavailable. Melinda says she personally calls all guests, especially those who book the private pool rooms to let them know the pools are not available. We got no call. We drove over two hours. The lock doesn't work. The private pools are down. We opted for a refund and booked at nearby hotel with mineral pools. With so many other options, I would not give Spring House a chance or my money.

There is on going construction on the property, the reception area is not finished and the mineral water jacuzzi had temperature issues not hot and then too hot. The rooms are comfortable as are the beds and the place is clean.
