Friendly staff. Room was pretty good. Our neighbors were a little loud but that happens. Kind of funky on how to get to the actual hotel

We should have trusted our instincts when we walked in and the lobby area was covered in dust and hadn’t been mopped in some time.
The front desk folks were always pleasant, when they were there which was rarely.
There were no pillowcases and the bathroom sink had whiskers in it. There was no kitchenware to cook and eat with. You could rent them for $35. The floor in our room would blacken our feet and socks. The refrigerator door kept popping open and barely kept our food cold. Drawers that wouldn’t open. The corridor and elevator were never cleaned. The bed creaked anytime there was movement. Take my advice and go elsewhere.

Our room wasn't cleaned when we arrived (well after 3pm), there was an $80 fee charged upon check in with , hopefully, $70 coming back to us. The poor clerk had just gone live with a new POS and nothing was working properly. The room had no soap, no shampoo, no hair dryer, no coffeemaker, and didn't smell the best. Pool was not working, had been broken for a while and was due for repair. It just was not a good experience and we will never stay at a Motel 6 anything.

There were no dishes to use in the extended stay rooms. Also we were told the pool would be up and running the next day. We stayed a week and never got to use the pool. Also everywhere we went it stunk like drugs! Will never stay there again!

Disregard the good reviews prior to May 2026. It was a different hotel and owners prior to May 2026. Now my review... I've stayed at this hotel for one to two weeks, every year, for the last 10 years. And it is obvious now, in June 2026, that Indians and Motel 6 have bought the hotel. All the old (good) staff is gone and have been replaced by gross and incompetent people. They got rid of the breakfast. And apparently got rid of any sort of maintenance and cleaning schedule. The building looks mostly the same. It's like an alternative reality of something that has been so familiar to me for the last 10 years. It's now a pit. Look, it wasn't a 5 star Hilton before. But it's a gross pit now. Fairly typical when Indians take over a business (hotel/gas station). My room had dirt on every flat surface. Not dust...black dirt everywhere. The window looking out, looks like a dog had licked it all over. And greasy handprints all over it. The bathroom counter and mirror were dirty. Again, dirt on all of the flat surfaces. The hallway was wrecked. Trash strewn up and down the hall. The elevator floor was sticky. Not like in one spot. But the entire elevator floor was sticky and had weird stains on it. Last year (March 2025) the pool was open. It currently (June 2026) doesn't work and not opened. The A/C in the main part of the building also didn't work. I can not express how disappointed and grossed out I was about the state of this hotel that I've spent so many years staying at. To top it off, the Mexican restaurant next door blares their spanish music outdoors and it comes clearly into your room. Do yourself a favor and spend an extra $20 per day at a nicer place in Findlay.
