Best Hotel in Cape Cod
I had an excellent experience at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hyannis! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the superb customer service provided by the entire staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, professional, and genuinely committed to making my stay enjoyable.
The front desk service was incredible—the staff were extremely helpful, attentive, and made check-in and any questions I had quick and easy. It really made me feel welcomed as a guest.
The hotel also has a nice, well-maintained gym, great restaurants, and a comfortable atmosphere. The location is excellent, making it very convenient for exploring Hyannis and the surrounding Cape Cod area.
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The combination of exceptional service, great amenities, convenient location, and wonderful staff makes the DoubleTree by Hilton Hyannis a place I would definitely recommend and happily return to. Five stars all the way!

The pool outside was nowhere near the size in the photos. The inside pool was closed until 4pm so we could not get a swim and that’s why we booked this hotel. The outdoor pool was not only small but also unclean Very disappointed in this hotel.

Check if location is ideal for you
Be careful. I booked this hotel assuming it's in the centre of the tourist area. It's certainly not that. It's on a dual carriageway close to the airport. My mistake . It's not that walkable to Main Street or the Harbor . In a car it's about 4 minutes. As for the hotel it was very quiet and soulless when few were there but despite being a gold member we were given a very dated room overlooking a rusty bit of kit. I complained and was moved to another room part refurbed. The hotel is tired in so many places and not fitting of a Double Tree in my opinion. I have to give credit to the front desk especially Chantelle who handled my complaints with great patience and a smile.My wife and checked out and moved hotel to by the Harbor and that gave an impression of of Hyannis that we had expected.

A nice hotel dented by rude customer service
The location is great for exploring Cape Cod, if not a little industrial. It’s close to Hyannis town centre though, only a 15 min walk to the coast and armed with a car, we had no issue in exploring the area.
The rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. The facilities were good - the gym was clean and well equipped and the bar area was pretty nice with a good outdoor space with a fire pit to sit around in the evenings.
The service however, left a lot to be desired. On arriving, we confirmed we’d booked 2 rooms for 2 couples. On telling the receptionist this she abruptly told us that she would only sort one couple and the other couple would have to go to a colleague. It wasn’t like it was an arduous task but her demeanor was pretty rude. Whilst staying at Doubletree, we found that the tv didn’t work so called reception. Again, they were pretty unhelpful but arranged for the maintenance man to come and check it out. He came, sighed a couple of times and then told us we’d need to swap rooms and he’d tell reception. It seemed a bit overkill and was about 10pm by this point. We heard nothing further in the intervening period and after checking the tv myself and pushing one of the cables in properly, voila, the tv was fixed. I called reception to say that we’d sorted it and given it was 10:30pm, we didn’t want to change rooms. They didn’t seem bothered.
We’d travelled to Cape Cod for a bit of relaxation after a road trip around New England and it was Memorial Weekend but not overly busy. The hotel is equipped with an outdoor and indoor pool. The indoor pool was restricted to something silly like a couple of hours in the evening. The outdoor pool was completely out of action. When we asked why, we were again met with an abrupt response. Sadly, on leaving, we found that the outdoor pool was actually open - it wasn’t clear why we were told it was shut, or indeed that the plan was to reopen it a couple of days later.
Overall, it was an ok stay. It was somewhere nice and comfy to put our feet up, but we didn’t spend much time in the hotel. A nice stay was sadly set back by rudeness and a general lack of interest in providing a friendly service. Having travelled around the USA quite a bit and having spent time roadtripping around New England, we were quite taken about how hostile the service seemed to be in comparison to what’s normally a friendly and helpful customer service.

The pillows in the room were flat . We arrived at 4pm and were looking forward to a cup of coffee which the said there was a coffee maker in the room (304) but only one packet for us(wife and I) . The coffee machine was not that good so we changed our minds. The following morning we were having breakfast, to be honest was just fair . The week before,when we were there it was really good and the coffee was hot.
