We chose this hotel mainly because it was cheaper than the other hotels and closest to John PenneKamp park. The person at the front desk was very nice and allowed up to check in early. The room was very clean and the bathroom was better than we were expecting.

The hotel was not well kept and had dirty floors, elevator, and no covering on the heat light bulb in the shower of all places. The security door was hot wired and showed bare wires. We left at 5am and were unable to checkout as no one answered the locked lobby door. The room key did not work to open despite the sign directing that it be used after hours; we made after several attempts. Also, the intercom to call staff did not work as we tried 3-4x with no answer and no staff in sight.

This hotel was very convenient for our excursion and had such a relaxed resort vibe outside. The tiki bar, pool and lounge chairs by the water were lovely and many guests sat there watching the sunset. The hotel was also great about providing a rollaway bed in our room. It was great for our purposes.

Decent room and facilities. The breakfast was quite good. However, the rooms feel dated with very noisy a/c kicking in during the night and we were awake by 6am each day with guests letting their room and corridor doors slam. If you’re a very early riser then I suppose it’s okay, but we got nowhere near our 8am alarm each day.

Rooms were clean.
Staff checked in daily via text to make sure everything was good.
Erta was amazing.
