A++++++ Trip back to Cove Haven.

Great time at Cove Haven. Garden of Eden Apple was super clean and romantic. Indoor pools and fireplaces are our favorite delights of the suites. Dinner and breakfast was delicious and fresh. The band entertainment was the band "The Job" and they were just so much fun! Great repertoire of songs with a few cool surprise, out of the ordinary songs. Guests were dancing and singing along. We wish the band could have gone on even longer :) (They did play until midnight and afterwards greeted the guests in the Lookout Lounge). Nikki at the front desk was a doll! Great personality and super caring. General Manager Lisa is wonderful. Friendly, helpful, funny and kind. Meghan in the dining room was fabulous. We saw her working the room with a smile, and making sure each guest was happy with their meal. Meghan was really superb! Jessica at the pool bar is a great mixologist and super sweet. April was lovely and Desiree makes a delicious Bloody Mary. Gena in the Lookout Lounge has a smile for miles, and is a mover and a shaker behind the bar. Entire staff was great. CXO Billy O is a riot. We always feel blessed to see and feed the precious and friendly deer that "work" the property lol. The deer are a huge part of the charm of Cove Haven. Love the retro dining room and the romantic, retro vibe of the rooms. Looking forward to the next wonderful, romantic Cove Haven experience. ♥ Love to the staff (and deer) From, BJ & Dave

Your review danced straight into our hearts! Thrilled to hear you loved the Garden of Eden Apple suite, indoor pools, and fantastic dining. “The Job” sounds like they struck the perfect chord, and it’s wonderful that our team, including Nikki, Lisa, Meghan, Jessica, April, Desiree, Gena, and Billy O, made your stay extra special. The room was clean and the cleaning help and maintenance worker where great. Basically the day we arrive it was a brake down of management. It was a all inclusive stay although when we went for the dining experience no one told us we needed a reservation. For dinner and breakfast. We weren't the only couples that hadn't been told how to make the reservation. I even called the front desk to make sure our reservation would be sent. When we arrived the front desk didn't confirm that we would be dining. They did take us but other were turned away. We arrived for dinner at 8:30 pm take we thought would have been confirmed by the front deck. It wasn't! The hostess was upset that we never make the reservation with them because that's the way it should have been done and there's a time of day to made the reservations. How would I have none that or anyone else. Even when I called them no one answered the phone and that was why I called the front desk and still after confirming the time the reservation was not confirmed.
Anyway the first night the food was inedible the next morning we were starving for food so we had our again with no reservation. They made a point of saying that. We didn't eat there the second night. On the third night that we hadn't made a reservation for dinner we arrived on time sat for dinner and all the waiter were so stressed out do to the kitchen staff inexperience and loosing orders we sat after 10 pm. before our main dish was served. Never received our soup.

This property obviously took a hit since COVID, but it is still one of our favorite places to go. The food is still incredible, the staff are all friendly and welcoming, and there are still plenty of activities both inside and outside. The room was super clean and still beautiful. I hope they can restore it back to what it used to be.

entire property was dirty and unkempt. no towels at any of the pools. we had no hot water the first day,. video games were extra and most didn't work
only bright spot waz dinner and most staff. otherwise, completely overrated and overpriced

It's aging but still worth the stay. Having a hot tub is nice although they're not up to date. Dunk pools are always clean and great to have after hot tubbing. The bathrooms are always clean. Satellite TV gets channels nobody around here gets. The place is remote. Bring what you need.
