Wonderful hotel with some fixable problems
The hotel was modern, pleasantly appointed, and had everything we needed for a 6-night stay. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. They were always eager to please. Our suite was very nice with ample space and areas to lay our belongings, as well as plenty of places to sit. It was modern, visually appealing and the beds were adequately comfortable. The AC worked well. Bathroom was a decent size with a nice vanity and bright mirror. The complimentary breakfast was decent, thoughtful and fresh, though they kept running out of spoons and sometimes bowls. The coffee makers worked well, with great-tasting coffee, and there was free filtered water, as well as hot water, available 24/7. The packaged food and snack selections were a nice offering as well. The casino, bar and entertainment were separate from the hotel but right next door, making it convenient to access if you choose.
The problems we had were mostly with the cleaning staff. A few times they didn't clean when we thought they would, and other times we didn't want them to clean, but they came in and cleaned anyway with the DO NOT DISTURB sign up while we were briefly at breakfast. We addressed this with the front desk and they put a note in our file to have our room cleaned only in the afternoon. Unfortunately, they continued to ignore that request. And on the day we checked out, someone from housekeeping knocked on our door just before the usual check-out time and I told them we were leaving that day & didn't need service. The lady then stated that it was check-out time. I told her we had a late check-out, but heard no reply from her. Very strange and rude. This late checkout was requested upon making the reservation, at the front desk twice while there and on the in-room TV screen before the usual check-out time. There's obviously a lack of communication with the cleaning staff.
All in all though, we had a nice stay and will definitely stay there again. And if they can get their housekeeping communication problems fixed, I'll gladly give them 5 stars.

Great location for us. We used this hotel for a visiting relative and the access and amenities really worked out great. We'll use it again.

This place was absolutely the best. We left and came back because it was just the best hotel in town. It’s nice because you are close to Vegas but you get to enjoy just looking in at the end of the night. Super pet friendly and kid friendly. Breakfast is always great. The staff is all great company.

Fantastic stay, Right on Water Street to hit all the spots, the staff was top tier. Clean,quiet, well maintained. Absolutely will stay again.

Great experience!
We had a wonderful stay at Atwell Suites in Henderson! The hotel was clean, modern, and felt brand new. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay.
The location was perfect—close to plenty of restaurants and off-Strip casinos, while still being in a neighborhood that felt safe and comfortable. It was exactly what we were looking for while visiting family.
We’ve traveled through several states this summer and stayed exclusively at IHG hotels along the way. Out of all of them, this was by far our favorite stay.
We’ll definitely be staying here again. This has become our go-to hotel whenever we come to Henderson to visit family. Highly recommend!
