Spring getaway!

Fabulous as always! Stayed in the Heidi this trip and loved it. Air conditioning during the day and fireplace at night. Bed was super comfy and bathroom spacious. Loved having a separate area to watch tv and so sweet having a front porch to people and pet watch. Kudos to the staff! Debbie at front desk, Tracy, Amy and Stephanie in the restaurants and Dave ( I believe was his name) the Assistant General Manager are all the kindest most helpful folks I have had the pleasure of spending time with while vacationing. Booked Father’s Day Weekend and cannot wait to come back! Oh and I forgot to mention the young gal in the coffee shop, I forget her name, she too was a sweetheart! I believe she is an expectant momma!

Our only real complaint would be the servers in the restaurants. Our fortieth anniversary dinner in the Chalet Restaurant
was dampened by a distracted waitress that had to be asked numerous times for water and cocktail napkins for our glasses that were sweating all over our table and dripping on our clothes. Our food came to us lukewarm so we didn’t even stay for dessert. Our first night there I made reservations for The Pub not knowing they only had high top tables which are not comfortable for one of us due to a medical condition. The hostess told me we couldn’t be seated in the Taproom because that was not what I reserved. When I questioned our server about it she said it was because there was only one server in the Taproom and when I pointed out that serving only had two people seated in that area she pretty much just ignored me. Besides our dining experiences we loved Switzerland Inn. We loved our view and our balcony!!

Comfortable bed, wonderful bar and restaurant in a quaint area. Bring your jacket for chilly evenings and mornings.

Spectacular hotel, great views, staff is incredible. Right off the parkway and incredible motorcycle riding in the area.

Restaurant "DON'T"

Over 2 hrs to finally get served in a "TOGO" BOX! Because it was closing time. Then after carrying the food back to the cottage, the order was INCORRECT. Last $$$ that will ever be spent here! What a joke.....

Waiting over two hours for a to-go order and then finding that the order was incorrect is understandably frustrating, and we regret that we did not meet your expectations.
