Good hotel at the edge of downtown
The hotel is in a 15 storey building between the World Trade Center and the I-710 ramp. The parking is $25 per day, which is steep.
The spacious lobby has a large fountain filled with rubber ducks! Fun for kids.
The staff is friendly and helpful. Check in was quick. The room itself was on the back of the building but had great views of LA. Room was big with a King bed, which was very comfortable and a large bathroom.
Every floor is decorated by a staff member and it's fine to see the fun displays and it adds a personal touch.
The pool is outdoor on the 2nd floor and has a cool bar and seating. There's a small gym. The bar and restaurant in the lobby is nice, as is the restaurant on the 2nd floor.
The only downside is that it's a longer walk (10-15 minutes) to Pine Avenue or Shoreline Village, but the hotel has a free shuttle on demand.
I would highly recommend, as it's a bargain compared to the other hotels in downtown Long Beach.

Jenelle is a gem!!
Jeanelle at the Hilton Long Beach Downtown is a standout example of exceptional hospitality.
From the moment we arrive, she greets us by name and makes us feel genuinely welcome. She remembers guests and anticipates needs before we even ask. On our most recent stay, she even offered to set up a late checkout without us having to request it, which is such a thoughtful touch.
She also helped place us in a beautiful upgraded room with a balcony (photo attached), which made the stay even more enjoyable.
As Hilton Diamond members who stay at many Hilton properties, we see a wide range of service levels. Jeanelle consistently delivers the kind of guest recognition and care that keeps people loyal to the Hilton brand.

We had to park across the street in some random garage which was super sketch. And then the room was so hot and the air conditioning was pitiful and I could barely sleep because the room was so hot. The property was nice but I wouldn’t stay there again because it was like sleeping in a jungle swamp.

The room was spotlessly clean, quiet, and well-appointed with modern decor and comfortable bedding that made for an exceptionally restful night's sleep. Standard amenities—from the Wi-Fi speed to the in-room coffee setup.
The location is ideal for anyone visiting Long Beach. Situated close to downtown attractions, the waterfront, and Pike Outlets, it serves as a perfect, central base whether you are traveling for business or a quick weekend getaway. Parking was straightforward, $35 parking fee not expected and tight spaces. The property felt secure and well-managed throughout.
I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable, and well-situated hotel in Long Beach.

The air conditioner in our room was not really effective even after they "fixed" it. The room still felt humid
