It was clean just a couple hairs in the restroom but other than that spotless. Super friendly front staff and over the phone as well. Will definitely stay here again.

Good hotel, bad professional skills
It has been a good experience staying at this property until my last stay. This property has an excellent location, very clean, easily accessible and good customer service (most of the time).
My last stay was far from the positive points of this property. When customer service fails, everything else seems to be negated by it. Vanessa at the front desk was not the professional that belongs in the customer-facing position that she is in. She definitely lacks the knowledge of their reservation inclusions and the proper skills to address customer’s concerns.
I booked a stay in this property that has a promo which includes breakfast. My phone app shows all the info regarding the details of the reservation. I requested for the breakfast vouchers since it was never given to me during check in. Vanessa tried to explain to me that my Titanium status only provides points or food/beverage credit. I explained that I booked the pricier promo package since it promised a breakfast inclusion. She looked at the system multiple times but always comes back to me unprofessionally like I was begging her for the vouchers. She was determined in her mind that I don’t get the vouchers even after showing my reservation details. She condescending says “I’ll give you $10 voucher since I don’t want to argue anymore”. I walked away quietly but inside me felt wilting away with embarrassment for even asking.
I called the Marriott hotline and they eventually called the property. The case was never resolved since I never received the proper voucher amount for my multi days stay.

The hotel is super clean and our room was very nice. Our room was facing towards the main street so we got a good view. The blinds really helps when the sun comes out. But the Ac isn't that strong to make the room cold. So it gets hot when you sleep. Overall this hotel is really good for my first time there.

Check your bill
This is hands down the worst Marriott hotel I've ever stayed at.
When each of my colleagues checked out (at different times, mind you), they were charge a mysterious parking fee that was not even pointed out or explained. None of my colleagues drove or parked at the hotel during our stay. They had to email the hotel to get the charges refunded.
They warned me about it so i pointed it out during check out when i saw a similar parking charge included, and got it cancelled. I thought i checked out with no issues, and even requested a receipt for company reimbursement.
But no, a month later, the hotel emailed me to say that i did not complete my payment for my stay. They requested that i make payment immediately on the same day they emailed me, or my Marriott Bonvoy membership will be affected. It was a sum equivalent of 40% of my entire stay. Mind you, I was already back in Asia in an entirely different timezone by then.
They had my card on file and I had checked out per usual procedures. What is this ridiculousness?
The email was so suspicious it came from a @hiltonpasadena domain when this was a Courtyard Marriott. There was no other way to pay except through a "secure payment link" they sent me. All the alarm bells were going off in my head. This was 100% similar to a scam attempt.
After several attempts and a painful process that affected my company reimbursement timeline, they verified sufficient details to convince me they could be legit. But it was a long process, careless reply, and entire unprofessional conduct short of the standards expected of a Marriott hotel.
Until now, I'm still waiting to see how i can settle the bill. If this turns out to be a scam or if they overcharge me again, i'm lodging a complain with Marriott hotels and a police report. This franchise does not deserve the Marriott name.

Best staff was so welcoming and friendly which made my day so much better after such a hectic flight and Rental Car process. They even made last minute accommodations from my room. The staff at the Starbucks was so sweet and kind that by day two they had memorized my order and the food for the hotel was absolutely amazing. I'm traveling back to LA and October for concerts( Taemin and Monsta X) and staying in koreatown BUT decided to book three extra days just to relax in this hotel because just to relax and try a few restaurants in the area. Did I add that the bathroom had a bidet??? SOLD
