Great Stay!
We stayed here and enjoyed it immensely. We had a two bedroom in building 12. It had been renovated and was gorgeous! It was clean, cool, and appropriately stocked in the kitchen. The pool area was spacious with plenty of chairs. (Although a few more umbrellas would be nice.) We found all of the employees to be kind and helpful.
Although not beachfront, the resort is close to Broadway at the Beach and Top Golf. We found the location convenient.

Choose beach front w beach chairs
Resort seemed more than a mile from beach adult children walked but felt too hot and long for older adults. No shuttle service. The immediate area was clean and good sidewalks. The resort is ok and our rooms were clean & nice. Mini golf convenient for kids and on par with what we have in a small town. Definitely not on par with the mini golf capital of MB. Pool slide was closed and they do not have pool tubes for guests- bring your own or get at sales presentation. Plenty of tables and chairs and small kid area. We are already vacation ownership owners on a trade trip and also purchased a room for a week. It left a bad taste w me that we had to run around town to purchase beach chairs and tubes. Next time will stay at beach front hotel w chairs on the beach and forgo the last river. How about a tube or beach chair loan program? Start with what people have left behind for inventory- there must be quite the surplus.

Kids/family resort
Not a good adult/couples resort, geared for family and kids. The pools were only 3'6" deep, no adult pool area. Very crowded with no umbrellas in seating areas.

Awful
I stayed with my wife and 15-year-old son for a weeklong baseball tournament and similar to some other reviews was very disappointed in the cleanliness of not only the room but the property. We stayed in the 700 building and while walking up the stairs there was an awful, awful smell coming out of the exhaust, pointing right down to the walkway. We all suffered from sneezing and coughing the entire time we were there. When we asked the front desk, what the awful smell was, we were told it’s the normal operations of the elevator when it clearly was not even coming from the elevator area. Unfortunately, the smell was being pushed into the room with the air conditioner. Two weeks later, I am still suffering from chest congestion.

Very disappointing
It was actually disappointing, I was expecting an updated and newly renovated space for my family to spend the weekend. The room was old and outdated and smelled of old mildew. They offered another room and outside the doors it smelled of urine. My granddaughter was refusing to take a shower because she said it was dirty. I told her to shower with her flip flops on. The dishwasher stunk. I was so embarrassed to subject my family to this place.
