The management was super helpful. I had to check in early in the morning, so I called the night before to find out if it was possible. They noted my name and made sure a room was ready when I arrived.
Very clean and cute room.
They also have a pool. Next time I will make sure to bring my swimming suit.

Something about the air quality inside the room. It was like someone has smoked in it. I felt heavy on my chest
The AC was too noisy- after it stops there would be a noise last for about a few seconds before the total silence until AC kicks back on. Couldn’t sleep until after 3 pm by default. I was too tired
Coffee maker available but no cups
Shower curtain rods were loose about to fall off

Rented the room for my daughter and her fiance as they were coming to MN to help me. First night they pulled the covers back and there was blood on the sheets and comforter. They went and complained. Got moved to a different room that didnt have hot water. Went to the desk. Was advised to let it run for 20min to get hot water.
We needed to add an extra night the front desk person was not helpful when I went in to add the extra night. When I asked about the blood on the sheets and if they would be compensating me for even 1 night, she could not give me an answer. I asked if the manager was available. Was told no and unsure when they would be back. I asked for an email or phone number for the manager. Front desk lady looked around for 10 mins before handing me a business card that was in front of her.
Not friendly or clean at all.
We needed to add an extra night the front desk person was not helpful when I went in to add the extra night. The room was clean, we reserved the Room for 4 people. They only had towels for 2. They offered a good breakfast.
The front desk staff left much to be desired. The person that wad working when we got there spoke very little English, was extremely soft spoken ans you could hardly hear what little she said.
Tbe 2nd night 2 of us had an event to go to, the others stayed. When we got back a 10 pm, they were a sleep. Our Key card didn't work, we went to the front desk same person working. She programmed 3 other keys none them worked. She came and tried the 3rd one herself. Proceeded to say it doesn't work. She said she didn't know what else to do. She said she could call management but she said it would be an hour or so before they would respond. The strange thing was she couldn't explain how the key let us in the main entrance but not our room.
All of our things where on the other side of that door. We kept pounding on the door and finally those that where in there woke up and opened the door for us. Thankfully we left the next morning. Never again will I stay there. Stay away, not worth the inconvenience.

Nearly $400 for a Filthy, Poorly Maintained Room
We stayed at the Microtel this past weekend as part of a wedding party. I was in the wedding and had been looking forward to a weekend away with my husband, but unfortunately, the condition of the hotel was incredibly disappointing.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear the property was not being properly cleaned or maintained. The elevators had such a strong, unpleasant odor that we chose to take the stairs instead — only to find the stairwells smelled like we were standing next to a dumpster. The stairs themselves had visible grime and dirt caked onto them.
Unfortunately, our room was no better. I documented the condition with photos immediately upon arrival. The comforter had large black stains that looked as though a marker had exploded on it. The curtain and curtain rod were partially dangling from the wall. Surfaces appeared to have been dusted only across the front, while thick, visible dust remained toward the back. There were even crumbs and debris left in the sink.
The bathroom was the worst part. The toilet looked as though someone had just used it, flushed, and walked away. There were brown marks/streaks down the inside of the toilet. It was so dirty that I went back out to our vehicle, got my own Clorox wipes, and cleaned the bathroom myself before we could comfortably use it.
Shortly after arriving, we were dealing with a family emergency, so finding another hotel simply wasn’t something we were able to manage at the time. Had circumstances been different, we would have switched hotels immediately.
For a two-night stay that cost us nearly $400, this level of cleanliness and maintenance is completely unacceptable. I understand that hotels can be busy and that things occasionally get missed, but this went far beyond a minor housekeeping oversight. The problems were evident throughout the property and in multiple areas of our room.
