Amazing Tiger experience
We booked 2 nights on the tiger side and were very impressed with the cleanliness and layout of the room. The bed, bedding and pillows were soooo comfortable. The first day was warm and sunny and the tigers were out playing. We stayed in room 1, but there is no room better than any other, the tigers are always walking around. We did have a corner they liked to lay down in. The second day it rained and only the white tiger came out for a little while. Once the rain stopped later in the evening, they all came out to play.
The only downfall we could find with the Haven was that the lights outside the big windows stay on until midnight and my husband is not able to fall asleep with any light, blackout curtains would be good.
It was an amazing experience and we will be returning to stay on the lion side. #BigCatBungalows

Once in a lifetime experience!
We stayed overlooking at the amazing lions! You don’t realize how majestic they are until they are 1” away from you! The kids loved every hour!
The location is remote, not much around for restaurants. Unfortunately we chose a time when the zoo was not open yet. The rest is 5 stars! The rooms are nicely decorated, clean and all immediate amenities available. Not to mention the outside seating area with a fire-pit. Absolutely worth the value, every penny.

Tiger stay with shortened viewing
This was our second time to the Haven. Our first time was a 5 star trip with no issues. This time we stayed the first night and also did a Capyberra encounterand then on day 2 we did the walk around park and the drive thru park. We set our alarms so we could be awake when the tigers were let out in the morning. We waited for a long time before moving on with packing ect, as the tigers were not let out. Come to find out the lions were also not let out that morning. This shortened our viewing time by about 3 hours, which is alot based on the room cost. We contacted The Haven by voicemail, and messaging. My husband received a phone call stating the person would take our complaint to the correct supervisor and we would hear back from someone. It has been about 1 month and we still have not had a reply. The Haven is beautiful and a magical experience being that close with the cats.

Great experience, but lacking in amenities
First of all, interacting with the lions and spending time with them was amazing and a once in a lifetime experience! That being said, I expected more for the pricecharged for the bungalow. The cost was just shy of $800 for one night. There were four of us, but only two chairs were provided so when we wanted to play cards two people had to stand the whole time. They only provide four bath towels and prohibit you bringing any of your own. The teenager among our group unknowingly used one towel for her hair and the other for her body, leaving no bath towel for the last of us to shower. We all took showers in the morning, but only the first person to shower had hot water. The water for the rest of us was not even lukewarm. Their contract and in room signage make it clear than any violation of their extensive rules will result in an extra fee and they are rigid in their check-in and check out times, even sending numerous text to remind us of the policy, including one sent 15 minutes before departure time telling us if we left late at all there would be an extra fee. It seems to me that for the price point charged every attention to detail should be there, any need anticipated for and supplied, and every amenity available that you might need. I don’t think it’s too much to ask for maybe one extra towel in case someone wants to shower twice.

Amazing experience
Property is beautiful. We stayed on the lion side. bungalow 4. It was an amazing experience. We were able to the lions a lot. My family loved it. Highly recommend #bigcatbungalows
