This is probably the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Wonderfully maintained. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good and fresh. We will definitely stay again!

We loved our stay at the Comfort inn in connellsville! We had just finished a day of biking and the accommodations were perfect! Especially enjoyed the bike friendly atmosphere, swimming pool and breakfast!

Smoking was permitted in the hotel. For nonsmokers the smell was pretty strong. Staff was excellent.

BEST CUMBERLAND RAILS TO TRAILS STOP!

This Comfort Inn is uniquely suited to accommodate folks doing the Cumberland Gap Trail. My Cleveland based bike group received a gracious welcome from the good humored staff. We were beat, stashed our bikes in the storage room and relaxed with drinks from the hotel bar. We sat in the outdoor common area next to the Monongahela and soaked in the atmosphere. My room fronted the river--nothing like the sound of rushing water to guarantee a good night of sleep. Thank you, Comfort Inn!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

⭐️ 1 Star — Absolutely Horrible Customer Service
I have stayed at this hotel every year when I come to bike the GAP Trail, but after this experience, I will seriously reconsider ever coming back.
We were planning to bike the GAP Trail, but it had been raining heavily. I called that morning to let the hotel know that we wouldn’t be able to make it because of the weather. I fully understood that I was outside the cancellation policy and that a refund was not guaranteed. I was simply calling to ask if they would consider making an exception.
Instead of showing even the slightest bit of understanding, the staff member I spoke with was unbelievably rude and dismissive. When I explained the situation and asked about a refund, she told me, “It’s not my problem or my responsibility that you are out biking on the trail.” I was then told I would have to call back when the manager was there.
I wasn’t demanding a refund. I wasn’t angry about the cancellation policy. I was simply asking a reasonable question as a returning customer. There is absolutely no excuse for speaking to a customer that way.
Bad weather happens. Policies happen. What shouldn’t happen is a hotel employee treating a returning customer with such blatant disrespect and making them feel like an inconvenience.
After staying here every year, I expected much better customer service. Unfortunately, one incredibly rude interaction has completely changed my opinion of this hotel.
Management should seriously consider addressing how staff speak to customers. A cancellation policy is understandable; treating people horribly is not. I will be taking my business elsewhere on future GAP Trail trips.
