Great Place to Stay!!

This boutique motel was adorable, clean, comfortable and very friendly! We arrived around 8:30pm for a one-night stay-electronic door lock made it super easy to go right into our room, 2Q beds, comfortable with beautiful beachy decor, nice bathroom with shower stall(unlimitedhot water!), ac was nice and cold. It was a great stay. Would highly recommend, will definitely stay here again when in the area!! Great job Panacea Motel!
Oh, and great seafood restaurant 2min away - Posey's...Yummy!!

A love hate situation with this motel

There were several things we really loved about this motel. It's very cute, especially the vintage-style fridge and microwave. There is also a very cute coffee bar area in the room. The room was clean, and it smelled amazing. Oh, and the barn door to the bathroom was really neat. The bed was comfy, and the shower was nice. The internet was fairly good as well.
There were also several things we did not care for with this motel. First, they sent me a long, detailed email a day before our arrival. However, upon arriving, we discovered that the information was incorrect. We were given a code for the keypad on the door, and it did not work. The office was locked as well, with no one there despite their hours stating that they would be. I had to call a number a couple of times to talk to someone who told us where to find the key to our room. They claimed they had been trying to call me; however, I never received a call, and it was the correct number. In addition, in our room #5, the tile is ripped between the bedroom and the bathroom, which could easily cut a bare foot. There is also a huge rip/tear under the coffee bar. The outlets in the bathroom don't work, and there is a serious lack of outlets in the room as well, making it inconvenient to charge our devices. The room is also in serious need of better lighting. The ice machine wasn't working.

The room was nicely furnished, and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The coffee was excellent. We will stay here again when the family travels to the coast for a long weekend.

Comfortable, Clean & Convenient

Of course, price is always calculated in our overnight stays. We found the price was affordable as well as the 3Cs. The staff was helpful and courteous. We needed a few extra towels, which they quickly supplied. Good eateries and a General Dollar Store were nearby. We loved Wakulka Springs' educational boat ride! Just 25 minutes north. We cruised and explored the Big Bend area and the Appalachcola Coastline. St. George Island beaches are beautiful.

We booked the Snowbird cottage and it was super cute! This is a rustic area and the location was perfect. Overall, it rated 4.5 stars. There were a few items left behind by the prior occupants, but otherwise clean. The shower definitely have hot water and the AC was cold. Parking is included and we were able to park in front of the cottage. The hosts were excellent on friendliness and communication.
