Awesome budget option for Pigeon Forge
This hotel is one of the older hotels, as has been pointed out in other reviews, but the owners have definitely made an effort to keep the rooms up. The floor is newer with the trendy grey colors, the drawers don't look abused, and the walls and ceiling were recently painted. The elevator and hallways don't have weird smells that often haunt other, older hotels. The rooms were quiet despite this hotel being off the parkway.
I need give a special shout out to the staff. Our housekeepers were two sisters, Tammy and Sherry, who actually engaged us a bit of conversion the first morning when we were here. In my 25+ years of traveling for work or for vacations, I have never seen housekeepers genuinely care about their customers like they do. I bet most people reading this haven't either. For those reviews that criticized the cleanliness of their rooms, all I can say is that they didn't have Sherry and Tammy on their floor otherwise they wouldn't had a complaint.
Overall, this is an excellent budget option for staying in Pigeon Forge with a staff that actually speaks English, and is way above average in both friendliness and attentiveness to their jobs.

Outdated, expensive, and called us Karens
The place appeared clean, staff was friendly, and location was great.
However, for the price, I was not pleased.
I booked a 2-bedroom suite, expecting some privacy. The first bedroom is separated from the other by a non-locking pocket door and there is no door at all between the second bedroom (I’d call it the master since it had the larger bed) and the shared bathroom. So, zero privacy.
I also don’t like the fact that the balcony is shared with your neighbor.
The bedding was very outdated, an icky bedspread and an old scratchy blanket like you’d find at grandmas house in the 80s. The bed was extremely hard and my back was killing me all weekend.
Coffee pot but no coffee or supplies.
No body wash and only a tiny square of bar soap to be shared by all three of us.
Furniture was old and in need of repair or replacement.
The previous guest’s clothing was still in the drawer so I question the thoroughness of the housekeeping staff.
Finally, it is LOUD. I could hear everything in the next room through the fireplace and the people below us had no concept of other people or voice volume control.
We waited until 11pm before we called down to the front desk to ask when quiet hours started. The guy told my husband “Oh, there are none! You’re free to have fun a party all night if you want. If some “Karen” complains, we can move you.” My husband explained that in this case, he was the Karen and then the guy said he’d ask the loud guests to quiet down but we already knew his opinion of the situation and of our request.
I’m not coming back here. Too many better options.

Not what it used to be
This hotel needs a lot of attention. No water pressure, pool area didn’t seem safe, unable to close curtains and killed a few bugs (not bed bugs).

We were looking for a hotel with two bedrooms. This hotel fit the bill but only had one bathroom. We made it work. The bathroom was dark and grey as well as the bedrooms. The bedspreads were red. The floors were not clean but we see this from time to time. We enjoyed the balcony looking towards the Old Mill and stream. The parking garage was convenient . The lobby was tired looking and dated. We probably would stay elsewhere next time but it was ok.

October Anniversary Celebration
The hotel wasn't anything like we viewed online. Older establishment, some renovations, the room smelled old, comfy bed, we did go to Walmart for an additional comforter.
Air conditioner worked wonderfully, jacuzzi tub was nice for our older joints and muscles.
Checking in asked questions because we hadn't been here before and the person was choppy with me. On our 4th day here, the entire facility had to have water shut down for some plumbing.
I do recommend this place. The walk to the Old Mill Restaurant and surrounding shops was lovely and the river behind us was refreshing and relaxing.
We'd stay again.
