a plus budget friendly hotel

this is one of the best super 8s I've stayed in clean excellent hotel staff breakfast in the morning parking was good and very convenient Walmart in the back couple fast food places close QuikTrip market

Just ok

The staff was very friendly! The room was musty smelling, very dirty carpet. In the corners and near baseboards you could see the dirt. Our feet were very dirty after walking on the carpet. Needs some updates in rooms.

Anytime you use hotels.com expect the worst rooms they have. But this hotel was unusually bad. I had to wait 1/2 hour to check in because the front desk clerk was trying to work out something for somebody who previously checked in before getting me checked it. Then, i was informed even though I booked to rooms, one for my kids, we could not get adjoining rooms, even though our room and my kids room both had adjoining rooms. Then, the next morning at 7:30 there as no meat or eggs left, I was informed the "ran out". So I went upstairs, go dressed, and came back down with my kids half an hour later to go out for breakfast and there were people loading up with eggs, bacon and sausage. The lady just lied. If you real the reviews it has happened to others, believe it. Our room was not cleaned that day so we had no towels when we returned that night. The desk clerk would not bring them up so I had to go down and get them. This place is a disaster.

Great location, near many restaurants, Walmart and other grocery stores. Also quick and easy access to the freeway to Madison (south) and Stevens Point (north).
Ample parking and quiet at night.

In general, this budget hotel has seen better days, but they seemed to make some effort to keep it up-to-date as possible in key areas. Our room was nice and the continental buffet was good. Staff was friendly, informative, and welcoming.
Some of the general areas, inside and out, seemed to be wearing a bit and could use a refresh.
The hotel worked for an overnight stay for our family of four on vacation with a lower cost to others in the area, so no major complaints.
Layout was a little odd, with the stair from the lobby to the second level was through the laundry room along with the ice machine in the opposite side of the building and only on the lower floor. Some of the laundry machines were not working, so this is probably not in the top end of hotels. A little difficult to know where the front door and lobby was located, as we had to circle the hotel to find out and make our best guess.
