Wouldn’t have changed a thing!
Such a fun room! I even took a pic of the tag on the bed sheets they use because they were so soft and I will be buying them! Everything was so clean. Wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy the courtyard that all the rooms led in to. Ate breakfast at the restaurant across the street with the special menu included with your stay and it was delicious as well. Would stay here again 100%!

Good location
Tombstone is a quirky little town,and lucky for us there was a donkey race the day we were there. It’s a little corny, but we had fun. The Russ House was in a great location, in the middle of all goings on, and the room was perfectly fine. It was very western, old fashioned, but the bathroom was modern and had everything you need. The check in situation is a little weird, like a VRBO. You are supposed to receive a text giving you instructions on how to enter the property. In our case it was through a locked patio, and we didn’t get the text and had to call. We only stayed one night before moving on, but it looked like a solid choice based on the other accommodations in town.

Perfect Place to Stay in Tombstone!
My husband & I enjoyed our stay at The Russ House. We were given room # 6, which includes patio access. It was rustic, charming, and modern.
The room was clean and quiet with good air conditioning. The bed was comfortable. The decor was historic, and included old photos with descriptions. The bathroom was modern with an antique sink basin cabinet. The parking was right in front of the hotel and convenient to all downtown attractions. The patio was colorful and inviting.
We received a text with full instructions the day of our reservation. It included address, codes for patio and room entry, check in & out times, WiFi password, and a phone number for questions.
It was the perfect room and location for our visit to Tombstone!

Nice and comfortable.
The Russ House was a very nice place to stay in the heart of Tombstone. Park the car and walk around town. Breakfast was a 4 choose menu at the Longhorn Restaurant. You won't go hungry there although they can be a bit slow. The check-in at the Russ was easy. There are 6 rooms to choose from, we had #5. The room was big with a very comfortable bed, chair, end tables and a big TV. There were 4 pillows of different firmness which I liked. The bathroom was roomy with a nice walk-in shower. The vanity could be bigger to fit more toiletries. The room was very quiet even in lively Tombstone. I would definitely recommend the Russ House.

Stay in the Old West
The room was better than expected and pictured on the website. We stayed in Room #4 for three (3) nights while attending a wedding and were surprised how well appointed the room was. The bathroom was large but has minimal shelf space. The walk-in tiled shower was large with two (2) showerheads, a tile bench seat and thick frosted glass panel and shower door. The bedroom has a large flat panel TV, comfortable chair with side table, tall dresser, and luggage rack. Several lamps and the overhead lighted ceiling fan provide ample lighting. The open closet has ample space for hanging your clothes, but there was only one hangar in the closet.
The provided daily breakfast at “The Longhorn Restaurant” across the street was large and filling. The menu featured I believe a selection from five (5) choices that would be ample for a “High School Football Player” and includes coffee or tea. I ordered the two (2) eggs, two (2) bacon, and hash browns, without the toast, as the portions are large. They will substitute French Toast for the two (2) bread slices if you wish.
The email and text communication by the staff was excellent and always quick and polite. The housekeeping staff were always polite and friendly. Housekeeping is not provided daily, but if you need fresh towels, they will provide them on request.
We plan to stay at The Russ House again when we return to visit our friends.
