Great place to stay

We rented unit B11 and it was incredible. It was very well decorated and the appliances looked to be recently updated. Very convenient to Lions Head. Vail Management was also extremely responsive to anything we needed during our stay. Will definitely rent this unit again in the future.

Avoid this property

ONLY for this property: 645 N Frontage Road W, Unit 34C, Vail CO 81657
The pictures posted online did not accurately represent the current conditions of the condo. Windows were barely functional due to poor maintenance and wood rot. Labels were posted instructing guests not to use windows. Not the best setup for a summer trip in Colorado when the property does not have AC. Not to mention the windows that could open did not have screens on them allowing bugs and pest into the property. Bugs were found on a bed of the property. Housekeeping was not efficient causing a delay in getting access to the property. Dirty linens and open food containers from previous guests were left in the property. The management group is fully aware of the issues with the property and continues to rent it out without disclosing all details prior to booking. The management group then is difficult to work with and condescending in communications. I would avoid this particular unit at Sun Vail.

Sun Vail Condominiums

We have been staying at Sun Vail Condominiums for the last fifteen years and have always been very happy with the condominium complex. The units are always impeccably clean and well stocked with regard to kitchen utensils, towels, etc. The units are spacious and have fire places and views of the mountain. The location is only a short walk to the Lion's Head gondola lift. In the morning, you can stop by the Little Diner which serves excellent breakfasts at a reasonable price. When you come back from skiing you can change and enjoy the hot tubs, pool and sauna. At night, you can walk to the bus stop several minutes away and take the free bus to the main Vail Village or just stay in the Lion's Head area and eat at several restaurants in the area. As aforementioned, we love Sun Vail condos and have stayed there many many times. I strongly recommend this complex.

Great Location, Great Views, Comfortable Stay

SunVail is a family annual tradition. Location is great (easy walk to lift, quick bus / drive for groceries), condos are comfortable, wifi actually works and pool / hot tubs are a great way to end the day. Since you are an easy walk over the I-70 bridge, you get great views of the ski slopes from your living room / dining room. We're all looking forward to our upcoming trip this year.

Great place to stay in Vail!

We love Sun Vail! We have stayed here many times and love it. It has always been very clean and the units we have rented have been all nicely updated. It is an easy walk to Lionshead. The pool and hot tub area is great too!
