Very disappointing stay.
As we were on a 3 week road trip, we didn't know where our next stop would be, therefore made the reservation shortly before arriving. Upon check in, the front desk folks were more interested in conversing with each other instead of greeting me. Once I was acknowledged, I was given the key and we went to our room to change so we could head to the beach for a few hours. Upon returning, we went to the parking lot to store our chairs and saw that our car had a hit and run. I went to the front desk to report and asked if they have cameras, which they DO NOT. The girl did not know what to do, so she called the Manager who in turn told her they can't do anything, but we should call the non-emergency Police number to report it. We waited an hour for the Police to "never show up", they just called to take the info. Feeling defeated, we went to our room to shower before dinner and found we had no hand towels, washcloths or bath mat so I took two pillowcases off the bed to use for a hand towel & bath mat. The shower & sink had hair in it and was dirty, there was a hole in the ceiling, the bathroom door had dirty handprints all over it and the toilet was worn out. The patio door curtains were a mess and the step up/down out of the patio door is very steep, the glass was filthy and neither lock worked therefore our items were not secure when we went to dinner. The ice machine didn't work and the walls & carpet were in terrible condition at the elevator. Only nice thing was the view. Very disappointing stay for us.

Worst hotel stay I’ve ever had!
This was probably the worst stay in a hotel I’ve ever had! The lobby is okay looking so you can book a room, but once you get up to your room then hallways are completely disgusting. I don’t think the floors were cleaned one time when I was there. The rooms are okay but the air conditioning sometimes doesn’t work and there are only two towels in the room so you have to go down to the desk every night if you want to dry off after your shower! Also, on the website, it says they are 100% smoke free facilities. I think this hotel is basically hotboxed 24/7. Not once did I not smell either cigarette smoke or marijauna! Most of the appliances and finishes need to be replaced with new. My sink would not drain and seemed to be slightly clogged! The bed covers are basically two sheets and no extra blankets either. It was miserable!

Horrible
This has been the worst hotel I have ever been to. After we checked in around 6pm we went to the room the bed wasn't made. We came back down to the front desk and told the girl that was sitting there. She sent one of the girls up to check on the room to see if what we said was true. She said it was protocol which is fine. The girl came back down and said she would make the bed. I said the sheets have to be changed. She said the bathroom was clean. We waited 30 minutes. We were tired and starving. After the room was ready we went upstairs and saw the tub had all this black dirt in it as if it hadn't been cleaned in months. I went back down and told the girl and she sent someone up to clean it while we went to eat. The girl at the desk said to talk to the manager and that she would be able to do something for me and that she was nice. The next day we spoke to Kayla the manager and she said with a straight face that she will look into a refund of $55 on the resort fee and call me to let me know one way or the other what she could do. A whole day and half went by and I stopped at the desk and asked for Kayla and was told she was on vacation for the next 4 days. We will be gone by then. She lied and knew she wasn't going to do anything. The hallway on our floor smelled like urine, marks all over the inside and outside of our hotel room door, markings on the wall, sand all over the rug. Don't waste your time or money. They have 2 elevators and only one is working. From what I was told it hasn't been working for 2 months. So many others were complaining as we were all in the elevator. What a disappointment. They don't care about the customers. Any place is better than there.

Awful Vacation Stay
The location was great, but unfortunately everything else about our stay was disappointing. I specifically chose this hotel because it advertised an indoor pool and complimentary breakfast, but neither was available during our stay.
The hallways and common areas were dirty, and there were no towels in our rooms upon arrival. Calling the front desk was frustrating because no one ever answered the phone. In one of the two rooms I booked, sheetrock would fall from the wall every time the door was closed. The baseboards, the areas around the toilets, the floors, and the windows looked like they hadn't been properly cleaned in years. The patio furniture was old, unstable, and dirty as well.
To make matters worse, I was charged a resort fee for each room at check-in, despite the fact that many of the advertised amenities were unavailable. This stay was nowhere near worth the price.
The outdoor pool across the street, which included a splash pad, was covered in algae. The surface was so slippery that my 2-year-old granddaughter fell multiple times within just a few minutes, forcing us to leave and not return. It did not feel safe for young children.
As if that weren't enough, the water was shut off around dinnertime without any explanation. Once again, no one at the front desk answered the phone to provide any information.
Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience. The property was not clean, many advertised amenities were unavailable, communication from staff was nonexistent, and I did not feel it was a safe or appropriate environment for my grandchildren. I would not recommend staying here.

No longer a good place to stay!
We reserved a room with a whirlpool tub and it didn’t have a spout or a hot water knob. The air was broken in the hallway so it was hot. Check in was at 4. We arrived at 4:45 and when we got to our room it hadn’t even been cleaned. It was 6:30 before we could even get in the room. The second room that I had reserved had cockroaches and no smoke alarm! I was told they are remodeling in the fall so they don’t care what experience you have. They will reopen under a different name.
