There’s was used tissue in the bathroom and toothpaste all over but other than that it was nice. I didn’t complain because it was an easy fix and clean up

Dirty Walls, Empty Shampoo, and No Front Desk Help at Night

I stayed in room 423 at the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton in Watsonville, CA, and unfortunately the cleanliness and service fell well below expectations.
The walls throughout the room were noticeably dirty, with visible spit marks and scuff marks that made the space feel poorly maintained. The bathroom floor also could have been cleaned more thoroughly, and the shampoo bottle in the shower was completely empty.
Late at night, we tried calling the front desk for additional towels and trash bags, but no one answered. When I went to check in person, there was no one at the front desk either, which was frustrating and inconvenient.
Additionally, the surrounding area didn’t give a great impression—the pavement on Lee Rd is falling apart, which makes the area feel neglected.
Overall, this stay did not meet the standard I expect from a Hampton Inn. Cleanliness and basic guest support need serious improvement.

Daniel is a very helpful and was seem always cleaning . We have been coming to this location since it opened. The carpets are dirty. The breakfast has gone downhill since the beginning. It used to have real butter, more variety of muffins. One day the waffle maker was having a problem, needs replaced.
Really would like fresh towels daily. I don't like having to go get them my self, when the room price keeps going up.

The girl at check in was nice but not helpful. Apparently, Hotels .com conformation # was different then the hotels, she said they should have sent me one. I could not find it on my phone and had didn't have good internet and my phone charge was almost out. It was very stressful. We had two rooms and only one was showing up. Fortunately, my daughter came and I had previously sent her information. For some reason it was in her name even though I paid for it. Then I had asked previously for adjoining rooms but they did not accommodate and could not at time of check in. The rooms and lobby areas were nice. Breakfast was avg . Location was good. Price was fair. They had way to many electric car parking spots vs handicap. We are handicap and had to park in the back and walk quiet a distance to elevators.

The hotel is relatively new and is nice on the INSIDE. Outside is a different story as the birds (swallows) have established this place as their Basecamp. There is large amount of bird feces everywhere ... on the building, windows, asphalt and now on my freshly washed truck. When we opened the blinds in the morning, the windows was streaked with bird waste - disgusting! Not what you expect for $407 per night.
