Independence Holiday getaway
Easy stay. Affordable. When I forgot a special charger from the states they sent it through a carrier no cost, no questions asked to TGU where I live. Truth worry host. We booked through airbnb.
Town is funky and super walkable. Even at night, very safe. Airbnb was a minute, well more like 5, from the town square. But like a said a nice easy walk.

Awesome Vacation
Casa Jaguar was a fantastic place ... it’s at a perfect location, very easy to get around and walking distance to the Central Park and lots of awesome bars and restaurants. This place is great, very clean and has everything you need ... comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen perfect for midnight snacks :)
Howard and Angela, the owners were very helpful during my entire stay and were available at all times whenever I had any questions and gave some awesome recommendations. Totally recommend it!
Looking forward to be back in 2022... ❤

PERFECT place to stay in Copan!
This was the second time we stayed at Casa Jaguar.
The first time was in 2017 for a month. This time we were in Copan for 6 weeks.
Howard and Angela are very responsive, hospitable and accommodating. The Casa Jaguar was clean, equipped and located in a quiet yet safe area. Convenient to everything in Copan. Can't wait to go back again! If you are a bread lover, don't forget to ask too try their bread! Angela's mom's recipe. YUM!

When you visit Copan, Casa Jaguar is the home away from home to feel right at home!
It is safe, secure, sparkling clean, and filled with ample amenities at your disposal.
The owner is a very knowledgeable host and has covered every detail to make sure your stay is a pleasant one. This vacation was more than I could ever ask for and was graciously accommodating. Be sure to visit La Casa de Cafe, right around the corner, for a scrumptious breakfast, hammock relaxation, tranquil breathtaking views, and a 5-star quality massage!
Casa Jaguar is also beautifully and eclectically decorated and architecturally designed with elements of the culture and community. It is an eco-friendly home that has been prepared to welcome you again and again!
When staying in Copan, don't hesitate to enjoy this gem a home. You will be glad you did!

Amazing house, can’t recommend enough!!
We originally wished to book a different house with the owners yet that was unavailable. After a bit of hesitation because of the price difference we decided to still go for Casa Jaguar and it was totally worth it! The house is beautiful, decorated in a definite minimalist theme with a clear Copan/Honduran style. Everything was just perfect for the 5 of us. The rooms were spacious and very comfy, I personally loved the style of the windows. The kitchen was well equipped with just about everything you could need, as the house itself. Anything you could’ve requested, Howard and the whole team were more than happy to provide. The fridge was full with wine, sodas, beers, etc. which was a nice and convenient surprise as we could pay for the consumption upon checkout. Just as a suggestion, I’d say a little placard or something with the prices near the fridge would be great (the prices are definitely there, you can find them inside the Menu on the counter in the dining room which is for the B&B around the block, I just think if it were right on the fridge it’d be easier for most guests) also some Honduran chips like Zambos or Caribas to be bought would be amazing! There’s genuinely not a negative thing to say about our stay, we liked it so much that after a 1 night stop and continuing our journey to Antigua we decided to spend another night there. It’s perfectly close to the center, but just far enough for a calm and refreshing night’s sleep. We had breakfast at Howard’s B&B around the block and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and local, served in a gorgeous garden with beautiful views. The hospitality we received was outstanding, and we’re extremely grateful to Howard for being so accommodating. (Tip: Tacos el Chombo is 3 blocks away and they close around 11:30pm in case you want a late snack). Would definitely stay again, hands down!
