Excellent hotel spa facilities & breakfast.
No shorts or swim wear in sauna area but you get a sheet to wrap up with.
10 mins walk to nearest restaurants & promenade to center.
Rooms are clean and comfortable, no ironing utensils in room.

Great luxury hotel for honeymooners
Great luxury hotel with high-quality rooms, restaurant, bar, poolside service etc. Great, professional staff, wine tasting etc give the hotel extra feeling!

Detachment
The hotel left a very good impression.
Bottled water was provided several times a day - with and without gas.
Beautiful location, good quality products, variety of tastes for breakfast.
There's also the possibility of going to dinner. The main menu for dinner offered in the restaurant was varied but unchanged, and the buffet is magnificent.
The SPA area deserves special attention: a large number of swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor, with water temperatures for every taste.
Variety of saunas: range from 40 to 110 degrees (if I'm not mistaken): salt, sun, ice and infrared. Every day there are several types of bath rituals "Aufguss".
At the time of settlement we were offered to attend a wine tasting of locally produced wines. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of the wine.
The shower enclosure was large and comfortable.
Our room overlooked the private sector and the lake. Every morning there was an opportunity to enjoy the sunrise.
A little bit about the downside: not replenishing coffee - had to ask. The quality of the hair softener leaves much to be desired, although the cosmetics in the shower enclosure are excellent quality.
The hotel has its own parking lot.
It's 15 to 20 minutes to the waterfront.
An inn that's nice to be back in.

Our Third Stay at Hotel Vinifera — And Still Absolutely Exceptional
This was our third stay at Hotel Vinifera in Balatonfüred, and somehow it still manages to surprise us. It’s rare to find a place that stays this consistent, but every time we come back, the experience feels just as special as the first.
The Hotel & Location
The moment you step inside, you can tell you’re in a true five-star hotel. Everything is spotless, beautifully designed, and feels luxurious without being pretentious.
The location is also perfect — peaceful and slightly tucked away, but only a short walk from Tagore sétány, so getting to the lake or the promenade is super easy.
Service & Atmosphere
The service really stands out. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely make you feel cared for. You never feel like “just another guest” here — they really pay attention.
Gastronomy: Fine Dining at Every Meal
We chose the full board option (breakfast, lunch, dinner), and honestly, it was worth every forint. Calling it “hotel food” doesn’t do it justice. It’s proper fine dining — beautifully presented, full of flavour, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients.
Lunch and dinner especially felt like experiences on their own. It’s very rare that a full-board hotel puts this much effort into every meal.
The Highlight: Robert the Sommelier
As amazing as the food and the hotel are, the true highlight of our stay was Robert, the sommelier.
His passion for wine is infectious — in the best way. He hosted several complimentary wine tastings during our stay, and they were honestly some of our favourite moments. He’s not only extremely knowledgeable, but also warm, talkative, and genuinely excited when guests show interest.
What really impressed us is how personal he makes everything. He remembers what you liked the day before, notes your preferences, and recommends wines that fit your taste perfectly. His pairings with the dinner dishes were spot on every time, and he was generous with tastings so we could discover what we truly enjoyed.
The Verdict
Hotel Vinifera has everything you want: great location, beautiful rooms, outstanding food — but it’s the staff, especially people like Robert, who turn a great stay into an unforgettable one.
We’re already looking forward to our next visit.
