Excellent Location and Superb Staff

The hotel is in an excellent location walking distance to everything and less than a block away from public transportation. The Time Out Market and 3 supermarkets are around the corner. The staff is super courteous and the management is incredible. We arrived to celebrate my birthday and there were a super nice card and some snacks waiting at the room. We had a health-related issue during our stay which was handled immediately and super professionally- and most importantly, the hotel fixed the issue right away for all guests. The rooms are well sized and clean, breakfast buffet is available and there is an on-site restaurant that is open late. My greatest surprise is that they have a partnership with a massage service and can arrange for massages in the room (you pay the service directly). Special thanks to Mr. Franciscy, Mr. Balogh and Ms. Zaja for the kindness, understanding and the support.

This Courtyard is arguably the worst Courtyard Hotel in the world. The property is old and worn out, the design is dated — it still feels like an American motel from the 80s, and the rooms are very dimly lit. The service is also terribly poor.There’s no lounge, no pool — it’s worse than your average budget hotel. This hotel has made me never want to choose the Courtyard brand again. Whether it’s hardware, software, or service, this property fails in every single aspect.
By the way, under the guise of being eco-friendly, the hotel only gives you one bottle of water in this glass bottle each person, and after you finish it, you have to go refill it yourself. That’s just really shabby.非常老旧的酒店，房间小，服务慢，而且早餐可选种类也非常少，它应该是一个经济型的酒店，不应该是个3星的酒店。不推荐入住

We would like to clarify that Courtyard is a select service brand within the Marriott portfolio, therefore our property does not offer certain amenities such as an executive lounge. We understand that this may have been disappointing based on your personal expectations for the stay.
We also appreciate your feedback regarding our sustainability initiative and the water bottle policy. While our intention is to reduce single-use plastics in a responsible way, we understand that the experience may have felt inconvenient during your stay.

Comfortable and in a good location

This hotel is located off one of the main squares of Budapest with a main tram service running outside and a metro station less than five minutes walk away. The splendid New York Cafe is a short walk away as are bars and pubs. There is a Spar supermarket next door. The hotel has a large lobby area on the ground floor which comfortably accommodates the reception, bar and restaurant. The lifts are small but there are three of them and you never have to wait long for one to arrive. Rooms are spacious with good storage. There is a safe and the air conditioning is very good. WiFi reception is also good. The beds are large and a little firm. The bathroom has a good walk in shower but would suggest a grab rail being fitted as the shower floor gets a bit slippery. The buffet breakfast was ok particularly the fresh fruit. The restaurant staff are very efficient and friendly. We were in town during an extreme heatwave but felt very comfortable in this hotel at all times. A good place to stay in this vibrant city.

Warm and Gracious Hotel in Pest

Amazing hotel for its location, price, comfort and quiet.
We were given a room facing the courtyard and that provided excellent respite from an otherwise bustling city.
Centrally located and wonderfully connected to all tourist sites including Buda by trams, buses and metro. Transportation is free in this city for senior citizens - how civilized is that?
Wonderful service provided by Daniel at check-in and checkout- courteous and efficient. Zita was wonderful as hostess at the restaurant during breakfast. Huge shout out to the General Manager who went out of his way to help us during check-in. Thank you, you run a tight ship - Bravo Zulu!
