Good bed and ac worked well as the heat of the summer was extra warm. Cosy bathroom. Staff were friendly and efficient. Good stay. A little hard to find as the front door is on the Main Street. Room was quiet with a view to the monument on the hill.

Awful hotel.Definitely not what was advertised.

We checked in later than planned owing to the fact that the hotel is really difficult to find and not known to taxi drivers or anyone else we asked locally.We realised why this was when an hour later we eventually found the entrance is just an old iron gated dirty alleyway with a really small sign to the side almost hidden amongst a mishmash of signs for various other companies,(not hotels)that share the crumbling old building.Nothing like the exterior photos that appear on its advertising that give in my opinion the misleading impression that it is large and grand.The reception area gave off hostel vibes and was completely unwelcoming.The hallway that our room was off of was shared by what looked like private squats.Our'deluxe double'room that we had booked turned out to be worse than I imagine a student let is.An unpleasant smell possibly due to mismatched filthy looking unhoovered carpets greeted us.
Chipped paintwork.A hole in the bathroom door with stained flooring between the shower and wash basin.A small old grubby console table with a well used kettle and unappealing tea/coffee items was squashed into a corner of the room.The bedding looked tattered with a lumpy thin mattress that moved when sat on.Overall it was so bad we checked straight out and into a alternative hotel a 5 minute walk away which was of a similar price but really lovely in comparison.

Location and friendliness

Overnight stay for 2 nights. Hotel in a very central location and easily reachable by bus 100E in 10 minutes on foot from the stop. Very kind staff, both at check-in and check-out. The hotel is set in a very old building. The room was comfortable, and we were also welcomed with sparkling wine offered by the hotel, in addition to the coffee left in the room. Cleaning was satisfactory.
I do not give 5 stars because the building is a bit neglected; I believe it depends on the overall management of the various facilities. Additionally, we were on the fourth floor, and the elevator was not working on Sunday, as well as the lights in the stairs.

Beautiful view from the room to the Citadel, really nice touch with chocolates and mini bottle of champagne in the room. Would be my first choice if coming back!

Great location. Clean. The staff were excellent. No restaurant in the hotel but a lot of restaurants around the hotel.
