Nothing special

This hotel is very tired/outdated. Rooms need an update. Patio was in desperate need of cleaning. Glass & floors on patio very dirty!
Only 1 pillow choice. Breakfast choices were good. Location of hotel is close to Danube & transit. Located on the Buda side(quieter area) A few restaurants near by. Way more selection on the other side( Pest side). Reception was helpful. View over Danube to parliament building at night is BEAUTIFUL….. only if your room is street side(Danube side)

The hotel was separated by a courtyard and we had to walk down steps with our luggage, no help from the staff! Then we walked to the elevator through the smell of sewer gas up to level two then up another flight of stairs to our room. The room was clean but old and dingy.
Also running late for breakfast and we had 15 minutes to eat so we wrapped up 1/2 of a croissant each and filled our water bottles. The waiter said we were not allowed take away and we should be fined. We paid 40 euros for 2 yogurt and orange juice.
Definitely will not be returning!!!

Great breakfast and amazing location. But the price is no longer in proportion to the "luxury" of the rooms.

many problems during check-in, rooms with balconies booked, not received, room with minors on another floor, afin, after much discussion and not giving, an upgrade for the rooms with minors, and the rooms with balconies were still received.
Breakfast splendid, location sublime.
Rooms themselves somewhat worn out, even the upgrades.

Cleanliness and room maintenance issues

The location is ideal if you are looking for a river view of the Parliament building. The hotel lobby is modern and has been renovated. Unfortunately, our experience with the rooms was not good. The air conditioning and telephone were not working in our first room, which was in the older part of the building. After some hesitation from the staff, we were eventually able to move to another room where the AC was working. Both rooms were spacious, but the second room also had issues - the TV channels needed to be recalibrated before the TV could be used.
Cleanliness was unfortunately an issue in both rooms. There were multiple large stains on the carpets, heavily wrinkled curtains, discoloration/stains on the headrest of the bed and pieces of paper and other debris on the floor, apparently left from previous housekeeping or guests. These are details that should not be overlooked in a hotel of this category.
Breakfast was average and nothing particularly memorable. Parking is available for an additional fee, although I only found this out after checking out.
The reception staff did not ask about our experience when we checked out. Some of the staff members we interacted with were helpful, but overall the service felt somewhat inconsistent.
The location and views are definitely the hotel's greatest strengths. This hotel deserves a better level of service and room maintenance, regardless of the fact that it is "only" a four-star hotel. The location is excellent, but the overall experience did not live up to the potential of the property.

Fine stay, but some improvement needed

Hotel has perfect location when you want to visit city center or go sightseeing, however it can be a little noisy when you open the window. We had an amazing view. In my opinion, hotel needs some renovations, mainly the rooms that can appear little old and worn out when you look closely. Our room was clean, but I’d expect better cleaning of the carpet, we also found used mugs, spoons and the kettle had some limestone inside. For a 4 star hotel I’d expect these details to be better. However, it was a comfortable stay and it’s location is just perfect.
