The best place to choose in Hajdúszoboszló.

The visit was a disappointment for us.
The hotel itself has indeed been nicely renovated, although we found the artwork along the hallways less appealing to our taste. However, the main issue we encountered was with the housekeeping standards. During the first three days, our room was not properly cleaned, and we had to repeatedly request fresh towels as the ones provided were damp. Additionally, the housekeeping staff often spoke loudly to each other in the corridors, which disturbed the peaceful atmosphere. The bathroom, unfortunately, had not been renovated; the shower drain clogged easily, and the showerhead appeared worn and outdated – not what one would expect from a 4-star superior hotel.
We also experienced several disappointments with the dining services. The breakfast selection was limited on several occasions – for instance, on one morning, the sweet bread was completely gone. The coffee was of very poor quality and virtually undrinkable, and both coffee machines frequently malfunctioned. During dinner, the variety of dishes felt quite restricted: there was usually only one type of potato side dish – such as mashed potatoes, smashed potatoes, or baked potatoes – and chicken dishes were often unavailable or quickly ran out.
Taking all of this into consideration, we regret to say that we do not plan to return to your hotel – even though we had previously been loyal guests and considered Hotel Atlantis one of our favourite destinations

Very good hotel, great pools, babies friendly
Pools not very crowded, always found a space on loungers, nice water temperature, great for babies. Bar could be open more often, on Sunday was closed.
Good well seasoned food in the restaurant, an extra coffee machine would help with queueing.
Overall we are pleased with our stay, hotel is clean and staff welcoming and friendly. Beware most of descriptions in the hotel are in hungarian, no english. Star down for asking us to pay again for the whole stay where we just wanted to move our reservation by 3 days forward due to very bad weather (floods in central Europe,in Hungary too), we ended going within our original booked dates and spent most of the time at the hotel. I would like to mention that it was in September and hotel wasn't full so not sure why hotel didn't want to move our reservation for free or for a small charge. Anyway, we recommend this place it is close to centre and to Hungarospa. I think w will be back to this hotel and we hope for a better weather next time

Had higher hopes
Our room was good - no electricity when we arrived and the problem was only slowly solved -, the food was tasty, we always found something to eat, even for the kids. I personally think it is much better to drink a well brewed real coffee from a tin than to accept those terrible machines in some other hotels that make water tasting drinks out of some powders. So no problem there for me, as many mentioned it below.
One thing that bothered us however was the size of the restaurant. We were literally sent away by an employee at the entrance on more than occasion during our stay just stating that we should come back sometime later since the restaurant is full. I can understand that it was a fully booked period during the holidays but shouldn't a hotel restaurant be designed as to manage a full capacity breakfast or dinner flow? Try explaining to a hungry 3 year old that he has to wait: not minutes since then they would have advised us to wait nearby, but who knows for how long. "Come back later!" Really? And not in a very polite way either. Like we shouldn't bother them with wanting to have breakfast.
The spa area is nice. It fits the size of the hotel since most of the guests use the spa across the road anyway. The problem for families with small kids is that there are four pools: one with thermal water NOT advised for children, one with very cold water, only for swimmers I guess, the one for children nearest to the entrance to the corridor and during the winter cold air flows in from the outside so not ideal at all, leaving only one pool that can really be used by the kids - not so exciting. The saunas are great and the salt room is amazing for children.
As a conclusion we had an ok time but we paid an above ok price for it so the ratio is just not right. I don't think we will ever want to return to this hotel.
