Super quiet, super dog friendly
The goal was to relax, get away from the world and it worked out great. We had lovely walks in nature, the area is great and very quiet.
The dog walk was one of our favorite places, the dog pool was open and we also used the dog shower. The only “negative” for us was that there was not much shade on the dog run in the morning and early afternoon. It would be nice if you had an umbrella or something like that.
The food is simple, mostly Hungarian, but for us everything was delicious and plentiful. The staff is great, everyone is friendly and helpful. You can tell that it is a very dog-friendly place, except in the wellness area dogs were allowed everywhere. Most guests are also dog lovers, so you always had a playmate and a conversation partner.
The room was cozy and well equipped for us. A bit retro, but if you want to relax and spend time with your dog, it's perfect.
The spa is a plus, but small, so if you go for the spa, you'll be disappointed. For us it was just enough to take a bit of a bath after our hikes, go to the sauna a bit and there were not many people there.
Overall we liked it and we would love to come back for New Year's Eve.

Worst Resort Experience
We had booked breakfast for a day, but the spread was extremely limited and completely unsuitable for vegetarians, there were literally no options available. The room itself was poorly ventilated, unbearably hot, and had no fans or any sort of air circulation. At night, the mosquito problem was unbearable, making it impossible to sleep comfortably.
We stayed for a week, and in all that time, there was no room cleaning service provided. For something as simple as groceries, we had to travel an hour just to bring food back.
Overall, this was one of the worst travel experiences we’ve had. Between the lack of amenities, poor service, and uncomfortable living conditions, we cannot recommend this resort to anyone.

There is no better place for dogs!
Checking in at reception was easy - but beware! Usually a cat lies on one of the armchairs facing the reception. And if you have a hunting dog, like us, joy comes at that moment:)
The staff are friendly and accommodating, they speak English and German in addition to Hungarian.
We had booked a room with breakfast. The room unfortunately has no air conditioning, but since it was on the ground floor with old, thick brickwork, it was always pleasantly cool inside, despite temperatures of about more than 30 degrees outside.
We were especially pleased about the cleanliness of the room and the toilet/shower - we have had to experience this very negatively elsewhere.
Also the fridge was absolutely clean and cooled our drinks and food excellently!
The breakfast buffet is kept simple, but you don't have to go hungry!
We found the service particularly attentive when my wife asked for gluten-free bread. Even if it is not written anywhere, the hotel is set up on it. Every morning my wife received 2 freshly baked gluten-free baguettes - THANKS FOR THIS SUPER SERVICE!
The absolute scoop (for our dog!) was the newly created dog pool with fenced meadow around it.
Had it been up to our dog, we'd have to spend the whole day there with him! He loved the dog pool absolutely!!
So if you have a dog that loves water, then you are in the right place.
We were definitely not here for the last time!
