Fantastic holiday beautiful hotel

Had a lovely stay we didn't opt for a private pool and wasn't needed. I went with my partner and two children aged 18 and 13. Could always get a sun bed pool slightly on the small side. Food always something you could eat and we're quite fussy eaters. Lovely location nice hotel lovely and clean. Only down side was you had to ask for the snack menu. Friendly staff and a mention for melina who went the extra mile. I was nervous because of the reviews and and im my honest opinion it exceeded all expectations. We dont like a busy lively hotel so this was perfect this was more relaxed and chilled. If your looking for entertainment this hotel is not for you very limited. Would I come back absolutely.

Excellent weeks stay and good value for money.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at Admiral De Luxe. In summary we had a fabulous time as a family of 3, and I shall list our pro’s and con’s:
Pro’s
1. The small amount of staff work tirelessly keeping the hotel clean and the meal services free flowing. We found them friendly enough and not over bearing. We needed assistance a few times with the Room Safe not opening and requesting a late check out, none of these were too much trouble and quickly sorted. Lastly it was refreshing to witness them enforcing their own rules regarding people reserving sun beds (removing towels and belongings) and making other guests cover up when entering the restaurants (people in bikinis and trunks) at meal times.
2. We stayed in Room 406 which was a Family Room with Private Pool. This was more than adequate for our needs and not in a tired state as previously guests have reported. At the end of the day it’s a hotel room and not a show home so there’s going to be an odd scuff mark here and there. We also had plenty of storage including two clothes rails with a sufficient amount of hangers, two separate lots of double draws and plenty of shelves. Our pool was cleaned daily early in the morning, not that the pool man made any noise whilst doing it.
3. We found the food of a good quality and there was always something for us to eat. As we only stayed for a week we had decided before flying out that we would eat out a few times, however we can understand that if people were having their three meals a day at the hotel restaurant then it could become repetitive. As we travelled with a 6yr old we ate when the meal services opened and found the food to be hot when we did. Lastly every night they had a different meat on the carvery section, the times we ate in there was Pork, Duck, Salmon and Lamb.
4. In terms of location the hotel is only about 20- 30 mins away from the airport depending on drop -offs. As other reviewers have stated the hotel is also only a short walk away from numerous Tavernas (Meating Point we recommend), shops, bars and activities such as mini-golf etc. On 4 of the 7 nights there was evening entertainment (Elton John Tribute Act, two others singers on separate nights who sang a variety of songs throughout the decades and Greek Dancers one night). The sets/performances only last 90mins and are over & done by 22:30 so wasn’t too bad. We found the hotel to have a nice chilled vibe with no rowdiness and people not excessively drinking, to be honest most people just sat around either playing cards or chatting in the evenings.
Cons
1. Upon checking in we were told “Your room is in a quieter part of the hotel” which was located in adjacent block separated by a road from the main building. Quiet it was NOT. The constant noise from Quad/Motorbikes speeding up and down hill at all times of day and night was annoyance. The soundproofing is non existent from outside noise and noise from neighbours either above or either side. At times it was difficult to get to sleep or back to sleep if we awoke during the night. However I appreciate that the noise is beyond the hotels control but I would suggest bringing some ear plugs.
2. Bathroom in our room was very small and if you had a shower it would flood and obviously make the floor slippery. Half of shower is enclosed by a screen so i think the hotel should invest in doors to fully separate the shower from the toilet to prevent flooding. This is only a minor niggle but didn’t spoil our holiday and at the end of the day it’s not my bathroom and towels & mats constantly getting wet.
3. Upon checking in we had to pay tourist tax which is calculated at 10 euros per room per night. This wasn’t made clear by TUI prior to arrival but again this is not necessarily the hotels fault. In addition pool towels will also cost you another 10 euros per towel on top (although refundable upon leaving) but make sure these are factored into any budgeting.
In summary to pro’s of this hotel more than outweigh the cons and providing people have realistic expectations of what to expect for the Hotels Star rating compared to the cost you pay then you’ll have a brilliant holiday. We’re not ones to return to the same place twice, but based our experience and the pure bang for your buck we would definitely return here again.

Staying at the Admirable Admiral

My wife and I returned on Sunday 9 August 2026 from a week’s holiday at the Admiral De Luxe, where we went with our daughter, son-in-law and (almost) two-year-old granddaughter. For us, the holiday was a delightful break in a relatively small, family-oriented hotel which provided an excellent service throughout.
There were a number of stand outs: the staff were brilliant; the hotel itself was spotlessly clean; the food from the buffet was varied and really tasty (I loved the way those potatoes were cooked); our rooms were pleasant, bearing in mind the object of the holiday was to enjoy the sun; the daily pool aerobics were amazing, as our little granddaughter would enthusiastically attest from the children’s pool (she is quite the mover); the provision of sun bed refreshments and small ice cream tubs each day was very welcome, given the temperatures the island was subjected to during our stay; there was only one small hiccup concerning an undersized toilet seat in our room, but hey, we didn’t go on holiday to sit on the toilet all day!!
Overall, as a family, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, from beginning to end, and applaud the staff for their hard work and assistance throughout. It was great value for money! Would we visit the hotel again? Absolutely!!

Good

The hotel is in a great location, and the bar service is excellent. The food could be better, though, and it is time to replace the bathroom towels; they are no longer white and are simply in poor condition. The hotel really needs to provide guests with new towels.

Fabulous holiday so far

We are half way through our holiday at this hotel and we’re having a great time. The hotel is small (which we like), staff are very friendly and speak brilliant English.
We have a room with a private pool as we thought our daughter would love it but she much prefers the main pool. The private pools are small and deep so not really suitable for young children. They’re more of a plunge pool than a swimming pool.
The house keepers have made our beds every day and there are always fresh towels. Our room is clean and perfect for a short holiday. The bathroom
Isn’t very big and very tired in some areas but the shower is powerful and does the job.
The food is okay, same as most all inclusive hotels who are trying to cater for the masses. I’m a pescatarian so I’ve mainly eaten pasta with Greek salad or pizza etc but my husband has been in meat heaven with lamb, kebab meat, goose etc available so far. There is lots of choice but very much the same at each meal.
The drink iS free flowing with a wide variety of cocktails, wine and beer available at the bar.
All in all a fabulous little hotel with many more positives than negatives. Ignore the bad reviews, they’re just being super picky
