Spectacular place to stay & unwind!

From the moment we arrived to the hotel we felt so special, we were greeted by the doorman, assisted us with our luggage and Nicole at reception was fantastic, so informative, welcoming, friendly and efficient! We loved the breathtaking sunset views of Athens & Acropolis from the rooftop bar Kalua, and the DJ played the coolest international chill music on Sunday evening! We had delicious food and drink choices were excellent too. Julia, the guest relations manager came to see us over breakfast to ensure our stay was seamless and gave us fantastic local recommendations. We enjoyed the pool experience and decided to unwind with a massage! Elpida at Spa reception was so helpful and she gave us the best service! Must try the Phe spa. Mahi & Maria at the Spa were amazing, they gave us the most soothing head & scalp massages. We will be back!

Amazing location. Pools and spa are both amazing. Staff went over and beyond to help in a friendly and gracious manner. Rooms slightly on the smaller side but acceptable.

Great location not so great pool area.

Great location with most attraction easily walkable. The room are very modern and comfortable with great beds and amazing water pressure. Breakfast is good with amazing views toward the acropolis. The pool is a major disappointment. €15 minimum spend to reserve a pool lounge for 2 or 3 hours. The pool is only 85cm deep and on both occasions we used the pool area it was filled with loud children. When the children did leave it can be a peaceful experience. If you are looking for a great pool experience this is not the place!

Beautiful view but unwelcoming staff.

The location is ideal for exploring the city with ease. The hotel is decorated beautifully and creates a luxurious atmosphere. The room was comfortable, however I wish I had booked a balcony. It is expensive but in my opinion the view from the rooftop bar especially in the evening made it worth every penny. The hotel was spotless throughout and the cleaners did an excellent job in our room each day. There was not an issue with noise for us, but I would say club type music is played throughout the hotel, although not at a high noise level. The spa was clean and peaceful. Staff member Emma should be acknowledged for her friendly welcoming manner, she is a credit to the hotel. The breakfast provides a wide choice and was delicious. The rooftop pool is very shallow but provides a welcoming environment to relax and cool off whilst admiring the stunning view. If you want to use a sun lounger there is a minimum bar spend of €15 per person, however they do have a few chairs you can sit on if you do not want to purchase food and drink. The staff in the rooftop pool bar and restaurant were pleasant.
However not all staff were welcoming in the hotel, I have stayed in a number of 5 star hotels and in general staff cannot do enough to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Sadly I feel this is not the case for this hotel, in all honesty the reception staff made me feel uncomfortable in their manner. Maybe they took a disliking to me and my son, whenever I asked for information it was as if I was bothering them. Also as I particularly enjoyed the rose jam at breakfast I asked multiple staff in the restaurant and again at reception if they could find out the brand of the jam so I could purchase some, this was too difficult a task for them. In my opinion it is small attention to details such as this I would expect a 5 star hotels to be able to attend to and NYX Esperia Palace Hotel could not.
Overall this is a beautiful hotel but I would not stay again as they did not make me feel welcomed and could not provide the level of service I expected from a 5 star hotel.

Much better than I expected. The breakfast buffet is amazing. Better than nicer hotels I’ve been to, and included. The rooms are cute, I love the fuzzy flip-flop slippers and the robes. The only downsides. The “pool” is literally 2 feet deep, and you have to make reservations. Also the spa pool is only 16+ most of the time and also requires you to book 2 hours slots which can be tough to fit into a travel schedule. Reservations fine. Offering 2 hour blocks at assigned times was hard to manage.
