Great stay at Villa Niriides
My friends and I stayed at villa Amfitriti, when our plane was delayed the host of the villa waited untill midnight for our check-in and made sure we were comfortable in the villa. We sure had a wow-effect the next morning when we woke up and saw our beautiful villa in daylight, everything we needed for a pleasant stay was right there, a pool, poolbeds, air conditioning. When our neighbor wasn't being nice to us and we didn't feel safe, our host directly came to us after messaging her to talk with us and the neighbor and we could go back enjoying our vacation again. The rest of the neighbors were really great and we had a really pleasant stay with them. With our check-out we were able to leave our luggage at the reception until we were picked up to go to the airport. We really loved Crete, and are already looking to book the same villa next year!!

Luxury Villa in a peaceful location. Description couldn't be further from the truth!
Holiday from Hell! Tui should take these villas off their books. Advertised as a family holiday in luxury villas a peaceful location!! Luxury they were not, and peaceful it certainly wasn't! Surrounded by villas full of young people having parties blasting dance music out all night, and I mean ALL NIGHT. This carried on for the whole two weeks - we were left sleep deprived. The villas are in no way suitable for families - more like and 18/30s club complex. Certainly not luxury, had to pay extra for air conditioning and try cooking a family meal with 1 pan! If you want a family holiday, then do not go here. Worst holiday I've ever had.

Luxury peaceful family villa.....NOT!
Stunning villa with a lovely pool and grounds perfect for a nice family vacation.....or so you hope?
A lovely location spoilt every evening by surrounding villas full of Dutch and German lads partying away with stupidly loud dance music in the usual volume competition with their fellow group villas. Followed by the loud music and partying continuing at 2am when they return from their night out. One night also included early morning, 2am - 3am racing of mopeds up and down the road.
Local management either refuse or are incapable of doing anything about it!
This should NEVER be advertised as a luxury family villa retreat no matter how nice it looks in the pictures. Your basically surrounded by adjacent villa ‘night clubs’. And to rub it in even more the local ‘management’ charged us 50 euros cash per air con unit a week per bedroom.....family of six, 3 bedrooms for 2 weeks = 300 euros from day one. This should be basic to the luxury villas when your paying nearly £7k for a two week holiday....simply SHOCKING!
Never again will I be spending nearly £7k with TUI on a so-called luxury family retreat or any other holiday again. If TUI won’t do anything about it I’d avoid at all costs.

Horrendous noise from 3 villas all week!!
Went to the Niriides “Luxury” villas for a chilled family holiday, it was nothing but!!!! 6 out of the 7 nights people were partying so loud we couldn’t open doors or windows infact some nights the noise would vibrate the walls....our children were crying and because it went on every night night until the early hours (4am 1st night, 3.41am 2nd night, 12.30am 3rd, 5am 4th night, bliss 6th, and 1.30am last night), one night our eldest came running into our room thinking someone had a gun because of the fireworks (firecrackers) were so loud at 2am. People would only stay in the villa one night so you couldn’t blame it on one group of people!! One group installed festival size speakers in the garden (see picture below).
Because of the noise we couldn’t go on our planned days out because we were all so shattered. We complained after our first night and were told that the security guard would make sure it wouldn’t happen again, we were also told that no one should be in the pool after 9pm (although groups of people were dive bombing into the pools all night long) and no noise after 10.30pm but nothing was ever done even though we complained every single day to reception (when you could find someone in reception that is, as was always empty but we did manage to find the lady each day). We complained to our TUI rep but she did nothing but just kept apologised every day, we asked to be moved on day 2 but the TUI rep said that was not possible. The rep even admitted to us she has had complaints all year about noise and TUI should not be selling these as family friendly villas anymore. We are currently still waiting for a reply from TUI and 11 and a half weeks later we still have not heard a thing and we have contacted them every couple of weeks or so as they are meant to to reply within 14 days, maybe they should change that to 14 weeks. TUI have a disgusting attitude as they don’t look after there PAYING CUSTOMERS, we will never return or ever deal with TUI again.
Finally, beware if your still going to risk it.... they charge €150 euros air conditioning when you arrive.
And make sure your pay attention to signage as it’s extremely hard to find.
Be warned....if your wanting to use the Pool Table in the reception, bring hand wash that kills more than 99.9% of bacteria fast as the nicotine stains on the balls are cues are enough to turn your stomach over, along with the strongest smell of cigarettes I’ve ever smelt.

Comfortable and enjoyable !
The whole experience was excellent, from the greeting to our departure. All the staff are really welcoming and friendly. The Villa was spacious, light, comfortable and well equipped. Everywhere is very clean and taken care of.The pool had a perfect size and great place to relax.Congratulations to everyone associated with this lovely place.
