Nice wooden lining in the rooms & throughout the building
very nice place to escape from shots-carees
The business owners are excellent, friendly-> are the plus in the business!
Pleased (and wish) we were there again!
It may not be close to city centre (Drama), but it's worth it!

Lovely boutique hotel

Small boutique hotel, great position near the forest, great architecture. Rooms with wonderful view, beautiful hand made massive chestnut furniture, handmade traditional carpets and high quality bathroom sets. The hosts are very kind, they offer any kind of information and a lovely breakfast with home cooked pies and traditional food. A small boutique hotel in a very nice location facing the forest, with very nice architecture. Rooms with great views, exquisite hand-carved chestnut wood furniture, hand-made carpets and apivita cosmetics. Owners kind and welcoming, wonderful breakfast with homemade pies and local products.

Warm, cozy, Greek!

Spent a very nice winter vacation at Petrini Gonia, a special place, in the middle of nature's silence, in mountains with fresh air and splendid views.
A family business extremely well kept, spotlessly clean, good taste in everything. Large rooms, private balconies, in the lobby place sorrounding a functional fireplace nice to stay and talk or play games. Small playground for children outside.

A small comfortable guesthouse on the mountains

Petrini Gonia is a very good place to stay if you chose to visit this less known part of Greece. The guest house is small and so are the rooms but it is obvious they thought even on small details. The rooms are very nicely decorated with wooden furniture that suits the place, bed is comfortable and plenty of hot water in the shower.
The "staff" is mainly the owner, Barbara who is so friendly and welcoming that you do not feel any language barriere ( and she speaks Greek only), she recommends trips and places to visit, she prepares a very delicious breakfast (even she did not understand our vegetarian requirements..) and she is in the very good taverna in the evening preparing ans surving a tasty dinner.
Make sure you get the rooms facing the road ad the mountains , although the others are good as well, these have better view.

An excelant choice

Our staying was excellent! The rooms are very good, wel decorated with hand made wooden furnitures, extremely clean and cozy and warm. The guest lady is amazing, the breakfast marvelous. Very quite rooms. If you are visiting the area, even Drama city stay there. You can eat near the guesthouse.
