Relaxing stay on the small island of Folegandros
Our apartment was spacious and had two wonderful terraces. There is a great, well-maintained pool with enough comfortable loungers (pre-season) and umbrellas. We enjoyed the tranquility, as children are only allowed here from the age of 12.
It is just a few minutes' walk down to the beautiful town. There you will find shops, boutiques, and many lovely restaurants in typical small squares. We would come back at any time!

Not satisfactory
Unfortunately, our accommodation – which should have been one of the best – proved disappointing. Inside there was a strong smell of closed, the kitchen was invaded by ants and little usable due to the lack of equipment (even a single glass for three people). The furniture and beds are old and deserve a complete renovation, probably the last one dates back thirty years. The linen was clean, but the general cleanliness of the apartment appeared summary. Even small details, such as the clothesline with broken clothespins, contributed to a feeling of neglect.
Overall, despite some positive aspects, we would not recommend the property as a first choice for a stay in Folegandros.

The worst experience in Greece
But how is it possible to use such advantages in such a bad way….so badly that we decided to leave before the end of our stay.
The welcome by the owner was so poor at the arrival…how could someone be the owner and welcome his clients as he did? We felt as we bored him.
If you are unlucky as us to try to share the few sunbeds around the swimming pool with people who put their towels on them in the morning, leave and come back later without removing their towels, don’t ask to the owner to impose a minimum of respect. He will answer you : do the same !!!!
The conclusion : don’t be tourist at FOLEGANDROS APPT.
