Nằm ở Vathi, cách Bãi biển Loutsa 12 phút đi bộ, Captain Yiannis cung cấp chỗ nghỉ có khu vườn, chỗ đậu xe riêng miễn phí, sân hiên và quầy bar. Guest house nằm cách Archaeological Collection of Stavros Ithaca khoảng 18 km và Piso Aetos Port 7.8 km.

Very good.
Overall a pretty nice hotel. It is located by the sea, at 1.3 km from the central square in Vathy. Very close has nice bars for drinks and good music.
On the positive:
The layout of the ground floor rooms is such that the hotel looks like a small beautiful village with a pool. It has modern decoration in the rooms which are large and very comfortable. It has a safe, hairdresser and personal care items in large quantities. It has fantastic views of Vathy and the sea especially if you are in the high rooms like us and you get to these rooms with the car, which you park literally half a meter from your door, in your own space. Stefanos and Dimitris are excellent kids, very kind and helpful in whatever you ask them. The cleanliness daily and very good. The ground floor houses / rooms have a small room in front with tables and those located in two three-storey buildings with their own level each room, have very large balconies, like a small terrace.
To the negative:
It's a little exquisite hotel. Breakfast costs 15€ per person (30€ if you are a couple) and is too poor for that money, with few dishes, there is not even juice while the coffee and tea are served in small paper glasses, which made a very negative impression. Personally, I would cost this particular breakfast at 5€! The refrigerator that the rooms have is not the classic low refrigerator that usually all the rooms in the hotels have, it is mini and with ease fits a few things especially if you have not paid for breakfast and you want to do your shopping.
In general, we were very satisfied because the positives outweigh the negatives and if we came back to Ithaca, we would most likely come back here.

We did a 2 centre holiday, one week in Ithaca and 2nd week in Kefalonia. I remembered seeing the Captain Yannis hotel on a previous visit to Ithaca and contacted them direct.
Amazing service, our rooms were adjacent and the views, well speechless!! To sit and have breakfast at this hotel, with the sea 5 yards away, watching all the boats coming in and out of the harbour, is a treat in itself!
Stefanos booked our rooms and also our transfers from Kefalonia airport, plus organised boat hire for us.
Dimitri was an absolute gem and a great ‘entertainer’! Such fun!
I have only positives for this hotel and feel envious of anyone that has booked to go and stay, hope you enjoy the hotel and the fabulous island as much as we do!

A relaxed and kind hotel
A beautiful location, Stefanos, Dimitrios and Ioanna made us feel very welcome.
The view from the room was beauftiful and if you want more space I would recommend one of the suites which have a spacious sitting area.
Highly recommend and great value.

Fantastic stay in Vathy
We stayed for 2 nights when over visiting Vathy from Kefalonia and we were so pleased we chose to stay at Captain Yiannis. Great communication throughout via our Agoda app as we were arriving on an early ferry and know we would be arriving well ahead of the usual check in time. When we arrived we were told we had the penthouse room right at the top of the property with amazing views and 2 balconies, one private and one shared as well as a reserved parking spot for our hire car. The room is accessed by a separate road up the side of the property by car or up the many steps in the resort. We dumped our overnight luggage and bags in the room whilst it was cleaned and following a walk into town and some breakfast when we returned the room was ready. We had a slight issue accessing the safe but again a quick message and it was soon sorted.
Room was lovely and had everything we needed for a couple of nights stay as we were eating out in Vathy during our 2 day stay. Great location
Have to say it’s in a great location and we had a warm welcome from the manager.
Our first impression of our accommodation was that it was a bit basic but on reflection we settled in and it became quite comfortable.
It was really nice to go to the nearby Mousatta beach then come back and sit by the pool with great views of Vathy.
If I have one negative it would be breakfast, it is just adequate to say the least.
