Amazing stay! Can’t wait to return
Absolutely amazing time at the Aloe Hotel. The staff at reception were so friendly and helpful and made everything so easy! We loved the little cat that stays there, “the security guard” as the receptionist called him! We booked the private pool room and loved it! We ended up getting engaged whilst staying here and the staff were so helpful with trying to arrange something. Rooms are clean, bed is comfy. We only had 5 nights here but wish we had more! Cannot wait to return in the future. 10/10 would recommend.

Exactly what we wanted
We had a lovely 7-night stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.
The location was great – around a 15-minute walk into town where there were plenty of restaurants, bars, shops and even a nightclub. There was also a local convenience store just a 2-minute walk away, which was ideal for picking up drinks and other essentials.
Our room was spotless when we arrived and was cleaned every day if we wanted it to be. We also had our own pool, which was maintained daily and always kept clean.
A special mention goes to the bar staff, who were all so friendly, welcoming and polite. They really couldn’t do enough for us and always made us feel welcome, going above and beyond throughout our stay.
We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, and the breakfast exceeded our expectations. There was a wide variety of hot and cold options each morning, so there was always something for everyone.
Overall, we felt we received excellent value for money. The price we paid for 7 nights, including flights and transfers, was very reasonable for the time of year. We had a wonderful holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Hotel needs to honour the contract with hotel guests and travel company.
Aloe hotel
With better management and some TLC this could be a lot better, it may reach its 4 star rating. We have been going to Rhodes for 20 years and this is the worst place we have stayed. In addition to this 100% of our travel in Europe is with Jet 2 and this is the one and only bad experience with Jet2 accommodation.
Arrival
On arrival I was told that we would have to stay in an other room due to the air conditioning leaking in the room, bearing in mind it would be the unit outside of the room which would be leaking. We arrived with two other couples who were also given reasons for their rooms not being available one of which was the tap was leaking in their rooms not being made available.
We were given a room with a private pool at 2 o’clock in the morning and were told we could use it, what use is that when you’re being moved the next day and when we just wanted to get to bed.
There were quite a few couples over the course of the week that were given additional excuses such as the bathroom in the room above your room has leaked into your room and they were transferred to the sister hotel in Rhodes town which apparently is very nice. On arriving back at Aloe hotel they were then offered all inclusive for the week. We received a plate of fruit in the fridge along with the other two couples which arrived at the same time as us. There was a never ending list of excuses for room not being ready. I would estimate that 40% of guests were affected. There were other guests that were unaffected as some of the reviews have highlighted. However when you’re paying good money for a holiday, it should be right.
The room
Once in the room it was clean and plenty good enough, the bathroom was tired and needs refurbishing. The cleaners do a good job of cleaning but there is a lack of consistency with replacing towels and tea making facilities.
The breakfast and bar area
The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of quality products. The lunch and restaurant menu is good and the food is of a reasonable quality and there is an excellent selection of drinks. The waiter Ilias is absolutely excellent, such a lovely young man who never stopped working, but seemed to be shouted at by his superiors quite frequently, which could be heard by guests around the pool.
Reception
The reception staff were excellent and always on hand to help if required.
The pool area
The pool area is lovely, the pool and jacuzzi are cleaned daily. There are not enough sun beds, however there is a seating area whereby another 14 beds could be placed to reduce the problem. Some of the material on the beds are torn and need replacing. The steps to get out of the pool were not secure and some more mature guests struggled to get out of the pool and complained about them. The maintenance team attended the next morning to fix them, but unsuccessfully and a wet floor sign was left against one of the steps.
Overall
Not 4 star, far from it and I will not be returning.

A wonderful staycation
This hotel was fabulous, the location was 4 minutes walk from the bus stop on the main road in faliraki buses coming at on and half past the hour which made it easy to remember. Off the main road and up a slight hill to get great views of the sunset and quiet at nights. The atmosphere was fresh and pleasant. Whilst it was mostly couples my sister and I felt so welcomed and everyone was so nice. Due to some works on the rooms at this time we were upgraded at no extra cost to a room with its own pool. Rooms were turned and cleaned daily and were always spotless. The staff were unbelievably nice and very helpful. The receptionist girls were so lovely! It was amazing value for money for our 5 day stay, we could have stayed forever. We had breakfast with our stay which had decent fresh selection available daily and staff were on top of clearing tables. Thank you Aloe and team for having us stay!!

Fantastic boutique hotel for couples
Location is about 10/15 mins walk from Falaraki centre so it was lovely and quiet but also not too far away!
Rooms were clean and had all the required amenities. The bathroom was a bit dated compared to the room. Cleaners came daily.
The food at breakfast and lunch was delicious with a good range/menu.
Pool area was lovely however you had to come early (before 9am!!) to get a sun lounger which is not ideal if you want a lie in, and there is not enough for all the guests.
Staff were all so friendly and helpful - booking taxis for us and no request was too much for them. The cats are also the cutest!
Overall would definitely return to Aloe hotel
