Beautiful quiet best-place-ever
This is truly paradise on earth. We stayed here for a week. Pay attention to the turn signals and do not fear the last 1 km on bumpy roads. You will be wonderfully welcomed by Irini and family. Comfortable cottages, the best food you will eat in Crete and family fun. Ask Evi about fine activities like pottery, traditional dances, and she will take care of it. Ioannis takes you into higher realms every night with local lute music and Raki. The most beautiful view of the silent mountains. Breathtaking beauty!

Wonderful escape and such lovely hosts
Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Arodamos. Just heavenly to be in the mountains and away from the hustle and bustle. Wish we could have stayed longer. Our hosts could not have been kinder or more helpful. Our children loved watching the goats being milked, holding a very cute kid goat and learning how they make cheese. Bucolic bliss! Spectacular views, nature all around, wonderful walks and gorgeous pool. Thank you so much for a perfect stay - it was exactly what we had hoped for and more!

Dreamlike is an inadequate description
You have to have been here to understand it. Just 40 minutes by car from the tourist hotspot you have an oasis of peace. Located in the middle of the mountains at an altitude of 1080m, you wake up and look out at the mountain panorama. The silence, the friendliness but also the excellently equipped apartments and the few degrees lower temperature in summer mean that you don't actually want to leave and you throw your plans of what you want to see out the window.

Amazing! :)
We (my husband and I) spent one night in this guesthouse during our island hoping this September. We chose for this place only last minute, but it was really really great experience I recommend to everybody visiting Crete. The guesthouse is in the middle of beautiful scenery, mountains, place is incredibly quiet and the only thing you can see around are mountains, goats and the sea in distance. We took dinner in the guesthouse, everything was really fresh and tasty, homemade cheese, great mussaka and that evening belongs to the most cosy and memorable we had in Greece. Yannis and Irini are great, hospitable, we spent our evening with them, home grown apples and fresh almonds, fresh yoghurt with candied fruit and of course...genuine raki. :D The evening was full of chatting and listening to music and singing by Yannis and his lute. If you want to see something completely different than tourist Crete, I highly highly recommend this place. :) Thanks a lot. Ou...and the breakfast had the most amazing view ever. :D

Just Beautiful...
If a change of scenery from a busy, stressful life is what you seek to find, Arodamos Guesthouse is definitely that! Beautiful views, lots of engaging activities, and delicious food all in one place. Activities such as: mountain hikes, archery and an insight into their farming lifestyle are all included in the experience helping you to return to nature during your stay. The family are both extremely friendly and helpful and the food was heavenly. We are a family with a 15 year old and 3 year old and not once were we bored. Would most definitely recommend and look forward to returning soon.
